Since the marriage, Ethan had never once visited Carter Manor. He probably didn’t even remember what Emily’s family looked like.

Emily climbed out of bed and replied, “Got it.”

Not wanting her family to worry, she deliberately put on a bit of powder before going downstairs.

The package had already been brought in by the staff. Molly was squatting next to it, poking at it curiously.

When she saw Emily come down, she looked up and asked, “Aunt Emily, what is it?”

Emily didn’t know either and walked over.

As soon as she opened the package, before she could even see clearly what it was, the item inside started to inflate, growing bigger and bigger.

It was a huge plush toy, bigger than a person.

Molly wrinkled her nose as she looked at the enormous toy. “Aunt Emily, don’t you already have one? Why did you buy another?”

He deliberately dragged out his words, sending a shiver down Emily’s spine. She hardened her expression and said, “Don’t send anything to my house again.”
