Alexander had always been a charmer when dealing with 

Women.

She didn’t plan on getting in Alexander’s car. He’d whined about 

the swarms of mosquitoes in the countryside and suggested they have their chat inside.

Alexander took his hands off the wheel, leaned over a bit, and said, “Come on, keep it in your head. No actual moves, okay? If you don’t, my baby here’ll be begging me left and right. I’m crazy about her. Can’t stand seeing her beg for some other dude. I’d be so jealous, it’d eat me up.” 

With vivid descriptions in his words, Alexander came off as a more charming rascal. 

He spoke so earnestly that there was no sign of falsehood. 

Aaron wasn’t keen on a confrontation. All that concerned him was Emily’s safety.

Emily scurried after Aaron, with Alexander’s wild laughter ringing in her ears. Her back was soaked with sweat. 

The sound of Alexander’s voice trailed off only when they rounded the corner. 

Coming to a halt, Aaron swiveled towards Emily. “Emily, don’t you have faith in me?”

Yet, it appeared Emily hadn’t really bought into his words.

Before she could finish speaking, Aaron gently took her arms. Locking eyes with her, he said with conviction, “Emily, just give me this one chance. I’ve got something up my sleeve.” 

Hearing that, Emily bit her tongue. She flashed him a smile. “Alright, I trust you.” 

Aaron grinned back. “It’ll be over before you know it.” 

Emily nodded, a soft sigh escaping her lips as if a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. 

Aaron didn’t have a silver spoon in his mouth or any big–shot connections. He’d clawed his way to his current position through sheer hard work and study. 

Although Emily was in the dark about his plan, his 

self–assurance was contagious, so she decided to put her trust in 

him.

A knot of unease tightened in his gut, and his mood went from

If Andrew’s intel was on the money, Emily was right then and there with Alexander. 

She could date anyone under the sun, but Alexander was off–limits. 

With that thought burning in his mind, Ethan grabbed his phone and punched in Lucas‘ number. 

“Track down Emily,” he barked. 

Before Lucas could even get a word in, Ethan hung up. 

It wasn’t long before Lucas called back. 

Ethan snatched up the phone in a flash, only to hear Lucas say, “Mr. Wilson, I can’t pin down Mrs. Wilson’s location.” 

After a brief moment of pondering, Ethan shot back, “Then find
