The guy behind her clearly wasn’t happy about her zoning out. He roughly dragged her back into the storage room and didn’t let up. 

After what felt like forever, he finally finished. 

He pulled up his pants, looking satisfied, and leisurely lit a cigarete, 

Karlie fixed her clothes and reminded him to send the money. 

He looked pissed, kicked her, and snapped, “Did I ever say 1 worst pay yens?” 

“Then pay up already?” Karlie shot back. 

He cursed under his breath as he sent the money, then turned to leave. 

Karlie grabbed his arm. “We agreed on 100 bucks! You only sent 60 

That’s because you’re only worth 60” he spat, shoving her hand off 

The force of his shove slammed Karlie against the wall, leaving er dazed and her head spinning from the blow. 

Still, the guy didn’t hold back. “You’d better quit while you’re ahead, or I’ll go straight to the manager at Lucky Seven Club and tell them you’re soliciting in here. Let’s see who gets burned, you or mer 

With that threat hanging over her, Karlie had no choice but to let go. 

All she could do was watch as he swaggered out, powerless to stop him. 

After he left, Karlie swore under her breath, still pissed off. Right then, her phone started ringing 

When she saw it was Jett calling, her expression darkened. 

She didn’t want to answer, but didn’t have the guts to ignore him 

“What do you want?” she answered coldly. 

“Where’s the money?” Jett demanded. 

“What are you, a leech? He literally just sent it, and you’re already hounding me for your share!” Karlie snapped, her anger flaring 

But Karlie had no choice when it came to Jett, so she sent him 30 bucks. 

Jett instantly shot back, “Why only a hundred?” 

Karlie replied, “He only gave me 60. I couldn’t push for more. if I did, he’d probably rat me out to the manager at the club. 

Jett just tore into her. “Pathetic! Can’t even sell yourself right!” 

Karlie was getting it from all sides, so she just kicked a trash can to let off steam. 

When Karlie got back to Lucky Seven Club, she spotted the floor manager hunting for someone to run drinks up to the VIP 

suite. 

The cart was stacked with the priciest bottles in the place, even the cheapest one was 30,000 dollars.

Karlie could tell this was a whale, so she jumped at the chance to help out. 

They were short on hands, so the manager nodded her in.

It didn’t take long before the five of them, with the manager leading the way, rolled into the VIP suite, drinks and snacks all lined up and ready to go. 

Right before going in, Karlie tugged her uniform down a little, making sure to flaunt her assets. 

But as soon as she stepped inside, she spotted Aurelia sitting smack in the middle of the room. 

Karlie ducked her head and almost tripped over her own feet. 

The noise she made was hard to miss, and the manager shot her a look that clearly said, “Watch it.” 

Then she flashed a charming smile at the VIPs in the suite and greeted them warmly. 

Jessica glanced at the pricey drinks Aurelia had ordered and said, “You really didn’t have to go all out.” 

Mia waved her hand dismissively. “Jessica, why are you being so formal? We’re about to become sworn sisters tonight!” 

Aurelia could tell Mia was acting a bit off today. 

She had no idea what had set her off. 

With Jessica around, Aurelia didn’t feel comfortable asking. 

Jessica was just as easygoing. Seeing Mia’s generosity, she went along without hesitation. 

She waved the manager over and asked for some of the house specialties. 

The manager’s eyes lit up and beamed, “I’ll take care of it right away.” 

Once the staff left, Mia leaned over to Jessica, curiosity all over her face. “So, what exactly are these special treats?” 

Jessica just smirked. “Just wait and see.” 

Aurelia put a hand to her forehead, exasperated. 

Tonight… how am I supposed to get out of this?‘ Aurelia thought to herself. 

Meanwhile, the manager was updating Jasper on what was going down in the VIP suite. 

Jasper practically jumped out of his chair, his voice shooting up. Wait, they’re asking for male escorts too?” 

It was only after he blurted it out that he finally noticed Cassian looking even more pissed. 

“Couldn’t you just say we don’t offer that kind of service?” Jasper grumbled at the manager. 

The manager just shrugged helplessly. “But Ms. Lane’s been here before. She knows we offer it.” 

Jasper looked conflicted. “Cassian…” 

Cassian’s voice was unreadable. “Just handle it as usual.” 

As he spoke, his hand tightened around his glass. 

The manager left the room.

But no matter how much he complained, Jasper still had to check things out, so he kept popping in and out of the VIP suite. Meanwhile, when the manager led in eight male models, Aurelia finally realized what Jessica meant by “special treats.” 

“Ooh, this one’s cute! And that one’s even better!” Mia laughed, nudging Aurelia with her elbow. “Come on, Aurelia, pick one for yourself!” 

‘Spare me, please!‘ Aurelia begged. 

Jessica grinned, “Don’t bother, Mia. I’ve known Aurelia for ages and I’ve never seen her interested in any guy. Honestly, sometimes I wonder if she’s secretly into girls.” 

Mia squinted at her. “Don’t tell me you’re still not over that bastard?” 

Aurelia just stared, lost for words. 

‘Where did that even come from?‘ Aurelia thought, completely thrown off. 

“I’m telling you, every woman needs a little male attention now and then. It’s good for your hormones,” Mia teased, shooting Aurelia a look. 

Jessica was totally on board, nodding with a grin. 

Aurelia could see these two were going wild tonight. 

If she didn’t pick someone, they’d bug her to death. 

Just to shut them up, Aurelia pointed at random. “Fine, this one.” 

Mia looked where she was pointing and shouted, “Wow, Aurelia, after all these years, you still go for the same type!” 

Aurelia blinked, confused. ‘What’s that supposed to mean?‘ 

“Even the guy you picked looks just like Cassian!” Mia laughed. 

Aurelia just stared, lost for words. 

She swore she just pointed at random, not even checking his face! 

The model knew how to play the part. Right after Aurelia picked him, he cozied up to her, calling her “sis” every chance he 

got. 

He kept pouring her drinks and handing her fruit. 

He even gave her a flirty wink and said, “Miss, we actually met a few years ago. I’ve never forgotten you.” 

Aurelia just stared, lost for words. 

‘Honestly, I have no idea who you are,’ Aurelia thought. 

But with the model keeping her company, at least she finally got some peace and quiet. 

Mia took things to the next level and picked out three male models for herself. 

One was feeding her fruit, another was helping her drink juice, and the third was giving her a massage. 

She was totally living it up.

Right in the middle of the party, her phone started ringing. 

Mia glanced at the caller ID, then just tossed her phone aside without answering. 

But the caller was relentless. Every time the call ended, they just called right back. 

After several rounds, Mia finally picked up, annoyed. “What do you want?” 

“Where are you?” Herbert’s voice came through, icy and strict. 

That jerk is only ever sweet to Leonie,‘ Mia thought, rolling her eyes. 

“Why do you even care?” Mia shot back. Like she was going to tell him anything. 

“Tell me! Where are you?” Herbert demanded, his voice getting even colder. 

Mia thought Herbert was being totally crazy tonight. He just kept grilling her nonstop. 

“I’m sleeping, alright? Satisfied?” Mia snapped, then hung up on him. 

Aurelia glanced at her. 

Mia tossed her phone aside. “Spam call.” 

She was just about to start flirting again with the male models when someone suddenly kicked the door open. 

The loud crash made everyone inside jump. 

Mia squinted, then her eyes went wide in shock when she saw who it was. “What are you doing here?” 

‘Shouldn’t he be with that bitch Leonie right now?‘ Mia thought, rolling her eyes. 

Herbert’s icy glare was downright chilling. “So this is what you call sleeping?”
