Levi saw the clear handprint on Herbert’s face and marched over, furning, to confront Mia. “What gives you the right to slap Berbert? If you have a problem with me, take it out on me. Herbert hasn’t done anything wrong

But before she could even get close to Mia, Aurelia pushed her away.

The beater was blasting, but Mia felt cold all over, as if the warmth couldn’t reach her at all. 

She stared at Herbert from across the room, unable to get a single word out for what felt like ages. 

Aurelia watched Mia in that moment, and it was like looking at her own old self. She knew exactly how that felt. 

She walked over and gently took Mia’s cold hand. 

Mia got what Aurelia meant and just gave her a faint smile. 

But her smile was kind of sad and lonely. 

Just then, more people arrived at the door. 

It was Darren, Joey, and Darren’s usual two bodyguards who were always by his side. 

Darren had a natural aura about him. He walked in and gave Leonie a quick, intimidating glance. 

Leonie immediately cowered, retreating behind Herbert. 

So, you said you needed Joey’s help. What’s up?” Darren asked, his gaze softening as he looked at Aurelia. 

Aurelia quickly filled Joey in on what was going on and what they needed. 

Joey caught on instantly. “Easy. I just need to check a few IP addresses.” 

Joey loved carrying around this mini computer Darren had specially made for her. It looked tiny, but it packed a punch. 

She booted it up, tapped away on the keyboard, and a full page of data popped up. Then she ran her own script to cross- check everything and got the results in no time. 

She pointed to the screen for Aurelia to see. “All the marketing accounts posting those misleading articles are using the same IP address. It’s the same one they used for all those posts hyping up Leonie before” 

Even with all the evidence right in front of her. Leonie still tried to talk her way out of it. “How would I know anything abour

“And seriously, who’d be stupid enough to use the same accounts that praised me to post targeted attache fu bank ally admitting guilt?” 

One had to admit that Leonie was pretty sharp. 

She had the guts to use her own marketing accounts to smear Mia because she knew full well that Mis would sagen ber 

She’d even come up with an excuse to get herself out of it. 

Aurelia honestly couldn’t believe anyone could be this brazen. 

Just as Aurelia was about to say something, Joey chimed in with an innocent tone, “But why is your agency using the show 19 address? Even when you’re promoting yourself on your personal Twitter, it’s the same 1P, 

“And I just checked. All those marketing accounts are registered under the same marketing company, and the reser record is your agent. How do you explain that?” 

At first, Leonie didn’t take Joey seriously at all. She thought Joey was just an ignorant kid. 

So when Aurelia brought her in, Leonie didn’t think much of it, 

But she never expected Joey to dig up every single detail of the tangled web behind all this. 

Even professional investigators would need some time to piece it all together, but Joey just typed a few things on her computer and had it all figured out in no time. 

Leonie suddenly looked flustered. 

Her first instinct wasn’t to apologize to Mia, the one who got hurt. Instead, she tried to explain herself to Herbert, Herbert, I really didn’t know anything about this. Maybe my agent acted without telling me. It has nothing to do with me

Hearing Herbert say that, Leonie felt reassured and quietly slipped into the washroom. 

Mia looked on coldly. 

Herbert glanced at Mia, then turned to Aurelia and Darren. “If Leonie really did this, I’ll take responsibility for her actions 

Mia’s hand slowly clenched into a fist. “And what gives you the right to take the responsibility for her? Are you her adulterer?” 

Herbert really didn’t like Mia’s snide tone. “Drop the attitude. If you want something, just name your terms. I’ll do my best to meet them.” 

“Then sign the divorce papers,” Mia shot back. 

Herbert replied firmly, “Anything but that.” 

“Then there’s nothing left to discuss. Make her apologize publicly, and have her quit for good” Mia’s eyes were cold as steel

She used to think Herbert was just naturally distant, never showing warmth to anyone. 

But after everything that just went down, Mia finally got it. The man she thought was cold as ice beside her was actually someone else’s warmth.

“Maybe I should go talk to Mia myself. Let her get it off her chest, and maybe things will settle down.” 

“No, she won’t accept it,” Herbert replied. 

“But-” Leonie started, only for Herbert to cut her off. 

“Isn’t your flight today? I’ll take you to the airport in a bit,” Herbert said, grabbing his coat, his face completely
