Aurelia crouched by the pool, dipping her hand in to test the water. 

It was icy to the bone. 

But Mia just kept plunging in over and over. 

When she finally climbed out, she was shivering uncontrollably.

Aurelia stayed completely silent. The assistant had warned her, if she messed with Mia’s mood even a little, they might end up having to reshoot everything. 

She kept her emotions bottled up, waiting patiently until Mia was finally done, then walked over with a towel to gently help dry her off. 

“Why are you here?” Mia was a bit stunned to see her, but couldn’t hide the smile in her eyes. 

“Don’t say anything. Just change your clothes first,” Aurelia said, her eyes red from holding back tears. 

Once Mia had changed out of her wet clothes, Aurelia immediately took off the down jacket wrapped around herself and put it on her. 

The jacket belonged to Mia–Aurelia had worn it on purpose, just so it would be warm for her. 

Mia finally started to feel better after she finished two steaming bowls of ginger soup. 

“You knew this was going to be exhausting, so why sign up for it?” Aurelia grumbled, but even as she complained, she kept Mia’s hands in hers, gently warming them. 

“It’s all about the cash! Plus, it’s a huge project—who knows, maybe I’ll be famous overnight,” Mia joked, sounding cheerful as ever. 

She had always been an optimist by nature. 

“Just wait! Soon you’ll have to schedule an appointment just to hang out with me. Maybe you’ll even have to call me ‘Best Actress‘ in person!” Mia winked. 

“Alright, Best Actress, once you hit it big, are you gonna send a hitman after me?” Aurelia asked teasingly. “After all, I know too many of your secrets.” 

Mia tipped her chin up with a smirk. “That depends on how much trouble you want to cause.” 

But even with all the teasing, Mia didn’t forget to ask how Aurelia’s work trip had turned out. 

Aurelia sighed. “Comparisons really are depressing. I talked my mouth dry and drank almost a whole bottle of liquor, just to scrape a bit of resources out of those stingy folks.” 

“What happened?” Mia asked, her brows furrowing.

Aurelia told her everything that went down at dinner.

Mia was fuuming. “Ugh, Cassian again! Why does that guy keep haunting us? And he’s always shielding his mistress, hustling up resources for her everywhere!” 

“Exactly!” Aurelia grumbled. 

Just remembering tonight’s dinner, Aurelia felt like there was a rock sitting on her chest. 

With Cassian backing her, Tessa remained completely at ease the whole time. 

She didn’t even have to say a single flattering word, Nolan just delivered the resources straight into her lap. 

Unlike her, who had spent the whole night treading carefully, only to earn just a tiny bit of resources. 

Mia was fuming for Aurelia. “Cassian is so whipped! Why doesn’t he just toss Honoria Capital straight to her?” 

Aurelia said, “That might actually be possible.” 

After all, Cassian’s concern for Tessa had already gone far beyond anything Aurelia could have imagined. 

Mia couldn’t help but sigh. “Forget all that drama, okay? When I’m finally famous, I’ve got your back! I’ll be your shield and shove those loser guys men aside!” 

“Then you better hurry up and hit it big,” Aurelia teased, still blowing on Mia’s hands to warm them up. “And when I become a big investor, I’ll make you a star–an international award–winning actress!” 

“The dream you’re painting sounds amazing! I love it–keep them coming!”

Three days after Aurelia returned to Ashmont loaded with new resources, Tyson used his strong technical skills to overcome the challenges they were facing. 

He achieved a “computing power dimensionality reduction strike” through innovative algorithm architecture. 

By rolling out a sparse activation network, he managed to boost their training speed by three times and slash the model’s inference costs by a whopping 60%. 

This “light computing power, heavy algorithm” approach significantly reduced the model’s computational requirements while maintaining high performance. 

The night they finally broke through, Aurelia was still working late at the office. 

Tyson rushed straight to Aurelia to share the good news.

her. 

Aurelia was firm: “You put in all the effort, all that passion–so of course, it should be you who names it.” 

But Tyson just grinned, “If you hadn’t backed me up all the way, none of this would’ve happened. The credit’s just as much yours as mine!” 

Aurelia was about to say something else, but before she could, Miranda jumped in. 

“Come on, you two, stop passing the credit back and forth! Honestly, you’re like the product’s parents–one of you came up with the idea, the other brought it to life. You both deserve the spotlight!” Miranda teased. 

As soon as she said that, the whole studio started teasing and cheering, making a huge fuss. 

Tyson wasn’t sure if it was from embarrassment or something else, but his whole face turned red as he stammered, trying to stop the others. 

On the other hand, Aurelia, stayed cool and collected. “Alright, enough joking around. Let’s get back to business–we need to pick a name for the product, and fast. We’ve got to get it out before the summit.” 

With just a few words, she steered the conversation right back on track. 

After some discussion, they finally picked the product’s name. 

They called it “InquireMind.” 

After all, everything came down to following heart. 

Aurelia had once come across a saying: “In today’s world, everything should be asked of the heart, not of others.” 

That line had gotten her through more lonely nights than she could count. 

She’d often find herself wide awake before dawn, talking to herself–just trying to keep going. 

It was a gentle reminder for her to let go of certain things. 

The day InquireMind officially launched, Tyson treated the whole team to a celebratory dinner, 

He turned to Aurelia and asked, “Should we invite folks from the investors‘ side too?” 

Aurelia thought it made sense, so she personally gave Jessica and Gideon a call to invite them. 

Jessica wasn’t in Ashmont, so she couldn’t come.

Just as Aurelia arrived at the restaurant, her phone started ringing.

“What does he want now?‘ Aurelia wondered.

She didn’t even bother to pick up–just walked straight into the restaurant. 

Cassian, usually impatient, was surprisingly persistent this time. When the call went unanswered, he dialed again. 

Aurelia still didn’t answer. No matter how many times he called, she wouldn’t pick up. 

Cassian started texting again. 

Aurelia saw the message pop up, but just ignored it. 

Her phone buzzed for a while, then finally went quiet. 

Most of the group had already showed up, so Aurelia called Gideon just to see where he was. 

“I might be a bit late,” Gideon said. “Something came up last minute.” 

“No problem, handle your stuff first. Just let me know when you get here,” Aurelia replied. 

“Okay.” 

After hanging up, Gideon turned to the man lying in the hospital bed. “Benjamin, how are you feeling?” 

Benjamin smiled faintly. “I’m alright, you go handle your work–don’t mind me.” 

“Just focus on getting better,” Gideon said, getting to his feet. 

Cassian stepped out with Gideon, and once they were outside, he finally asked, “Was that Aurelia calling you just now?” 

Gideon didn’t even try to hide it. “Yeah, her team’s throwing a company dinner tonight, and they invited me since I’m their investor.” 

Cassian was still clutching his phone, staring at the screen, clearly frustrated.
