Chapter 251

Rebecca’s POV

6523

The Delta looked concerned but followed orders, moving to retrieve the prisoner. We walked to the central area of the containment facility — a large circular space with reinforced walls and observation windows high above. It was designed for pack training and, when necessary, for confrontations that required space.

–

Minutes later, the Delta returned with the prisoner a tall, muscular man with hate-filled eyes that locked onto me the moment he entered the room. The silver restraints had left angry red marks on his wrists.

“You murdered my Alpha and Luna,” he snarled, his body tense with barely contained rage. “The Collins pack will never bow to you!”

I stepped forward, slowly removing my jacket and handing it to Dominic. I could feel his strength flowing into me through our bond, his trust and confidence wrapping around me like armor.

“Your Alpha threatened my child,” I said quietly, my voice carrying in the silent room. “He made his choice.”

I closed my eyes, reaching deep within myself for that golden energy I’d felt when healing Dominic. It was still there, thrumming beneath my skin, different from before but equally powerful. When I opened my eyes again, I could feel them glowing with golden light – I saw the reflection in the prisoner’s suddenly wary expression.

“What is this?” he growled, taking a step back. “What are you doing?”

Without warning, he began to shift. His body contorted, bones cracking and reforming as he dropped to all fours. Where the man had stood moments before, a massive black wolf now snarled, hackles raised, teeth bared in a savage display.

I didn’t fully shift in response. Instead, I allowed only a partial transformation sharpening to points, my senses heightening to their fullest capacity.

my nails lengthening into deadly claws, my teeth

Through our bond, I heard Dominic’s voice as clearly as if he had spoken aloud: Feel our connection, Rebecca. Let it guide your movements.

The wolf lunged at me with blinding speed, but somehow I was faster. I sidestepped the attack with a fluid grace that felt both foreign and natural, my body moving as if in a perfectly choreographed dance. Each step, each turn seemed to flow from the golden thread connecting me to Dominic.

That’s it, his thoughts encouraged me. You’re stronger than you know.

The wolf pivoted and charged again, but this time I was ready. As he passed, I spun and struck out with my claws, drawing four lines of blood across his flank. He yelped in pain and fury, spinning to face me.

The golden energy was pulsing through my veins now, making me feel lighter, faster, more powerful than I’d ever been. When the wolf circled and leapt at me a third time, I dropped low and then exploded upward at the perfect moment, launching myself onto his back.

My claws sank deep into his thick fur, finding purchase in the muscle beneath. The wolf bucked and twisted, trying to dislodge me, but I held on with supernatural strength.

“Now, Luna,” Dominic’s thoughts whispered through our bond. “End it.”

In one swift, decisive movement, I leaned forward and tore into the wolf’s throat with my sharpened teeth. Hot blood filled my mouth, metallic and primal. As the life drained from the creature beneath me, I felt the golden energy in my body surge, radiating outward from

Through our bond, I could feel Dominic’s awe at the raw power flowing between us, amplifying my strength beyond anything either of us had experienced before.

The wolf collapsed beneath me, its body already beginning to shift back to human form in death. I rose to my feet, blood staining my clothes and skin, yet somehow I felt more composed and powerful than ever before. The golden light in my eyes gradually dimmed, but 1 could still feel its warmth within me.

I turned to face Dominic, aware of guards staring at me with a mixture of fear and respect. Blood dripped from my fingertips onto the

I could feel Dominic’s appreciation and pride washing over concrete floor, yet I knew I must look strangely beautiful in my deadliness me through our bond.

“That,” I said calmly, looking directly at Johnson, “is what happens to anyone who threatens my family.” I glanced down at the body on the floor. “Have someone clean this up.”

Dominic’s hand was warm against the small of my back as we walked away from the containment area. Through our bond, I could feel his pride, his admiration, and something deeper-a profound respect that warmed me from within.

“That was…” he began, then paused, searching for the right word. “Magnificent. I’ve never seen anything like it. The way you moved, the golden light… our bond has changed you in ways I never imagined possible.”

I wiped a smear of blood from my cheek, suddenly very aware of the crimson staining my clothes. “I didn’t even think about it. When he shifted, I just… reacted. And I could feel you with me, guiding me.”

We reached the main hallway, and Dominic pulled me to a stop, turning me to face him. His eyes were intense, burning with a mixture of pride and desire.

“Have I told you how incredibly beautiful you are when you embrace your power?” he asked, his voice dropping to a growl.

I laughed, the tension of the confrontation finally releasing. “I think you might have mentioned it once or twice.”

He pulled me closer, seemingly unconcerned about the blood on my clothes. “Let’s check on Lucas, then we need to contact Emily about the Collins territory.”

I nodded, already eager to see our son. “And after that?”

Dominic’s smile turned predatory, sending a delicious shiver down my spine. “After that, Luna, I think we should continue exploring this enhanced bond of ours. I’m very interested in what other… benefits it might offer.”

His lips brushed against my ear, his voice a promise of pleasures to come. “Very interested indeed.”
