5 Submission Is AddictiveÂ
[Music: Do It For Me By Rosenfeld]Â
I should be working, but here I was looking over this contract like it was my death certificate. It might as well be because signing this would feel like the other part of my soul has been sold.Â
At this point, I don’t deserve a soul, given the thoughts I have right now. I want this. I know I shouldn’t, and the best response was shoving this up Ares‘ ass and telling him to go fuck himself.Â
However, I’m a lost cause, because the number of times I have fantasized about submitting myself to Ares King was enough to earn me a trip to the nuthouse.Â
I sighed heavily, chest heavy and mind up as I looked over his medical records again. He was clean, and so was I, given the fact that I made a trip to the doctor after I ended things with Dan.Â
Nothing was standing in my way from signing this, and I’m shameless enough to admit that I have never been more enthusiastic about somethingÂ
I flipped and began reading the contract all over again for the fifteenth time, trying to remind myself that this was actually real. This puts fucking my boss into a whole new level. Nope…this was far more than that.Â
I let my eyes shift from my desk to Ares, deeply engrossed in his work, as he casually scrolled through his laptop. Work has been in full swing since I resumed, but AresÂ
handled most of it.Â
It’s been comfortable hours of silence, and it was almost as if we both didn’t exist, butÂ
I’m past my breaking point.Â
I shut the portfolio and pushed to my feet, expecting Ares to look toward me as 1 neared his desk, but he didn’t, until I left the office and shut the door behind me.Â
I rested my back against it, trying to collect myself before I pushed off the door andÂ
my way out of the executive suite.Â
madeÂ
Ares was having a meeting with the board in a few hours, so the least I could do was distract myself right now because all I could see and breathe was that contract on my desk. I’m basically obsessed with it at this point.Â

My phone vibrated, and I checked, expecting Tori’s message because she had been on my neck ever since, but the notification was from an unknown number. Frowning, I pushed open the glass doors leading to the conference room as I read the contents.Â
Unknown: Hey, it’s Theo.Â
Theo?Â
I set the files down as I typed a reply.Â
Me: How did you get my number?Â
The bubbles came up only to disappear and reappear a number of times before he finally sent me a reply.Â
Unknown: I got it from Gary. Don’t blame him, I begged him. I needed to make sure you were okay, that’s all.Â
Me: You should have asked me personally, rather than going behind my back.Â
Unknown: I’m sorry. I came back to check on you at the hospital, but I wasn’t allowed.Â
Wasn’t allowed? One word popped up in my mind. Ares. He really took his acting to another level.Â
Me: My husband was just being protective.Â
Unknown: I understand, who wouldn’t be when it’s you?Â
I raised an eyebrow. I dropped my phone, choosing not to reply as I set the papers for the meeting. After a few minutes, I was done, andÂ
When I turned to get the bottles of water, I froze when Ares stepped into the room, and suddenly, the air was sucked out.Â
I stood there like a deer in headlights as if I hadn’t spent half of the day with him.Â
“You shouldn’t be doing this. I already made arrangements.”Â
“R–Reflex…” I replied. “Besides, I’m still your secretary.”Â
I attempted to flee, but he closed the distance between us until I felt the edge of the table.Â
“And my wife…” Ares spoke coolly as his hand brushed my hair over my shoulder, and I’m already on the verge of falling into his arms and letting him do what he wantedÂ
with me.Â
“Twenty,” he said out of the blue, a dark look in his eyes as if he had come to collect.Â

“T–Twenty?” I stuttered.Â
When he said nothing back to me, I realized what he meant, my mind flashing to the same word he told me sometime ago. Oh no.Â
“You didn’t think I’d forget… did you?”Â
My mouth hung open, and when he ate the remaining space, I rushed my words.Â
“I–I haven’t signed the contract yet!”Â
I didn’t expect that to save me because clearly, Ares didn’t give a shit about that at the moment. The look in his cold blues told me he would eat me up and call it a day.Â
“Turn around and bend over the table.”Â
My insides curled in heat as I turned slowly, a bit hesitant. “What if someone-”Â
“Bend.”Â
I gulped, obeying as the cold surface slipped into me.Â
“Do you know why I wanna punish you?” he asked as he raised my skirt until the air kissed my bare ass.Â
I rubbed my knees together. “N–No?”Â
Smack!Â
I gasped loudly as pain burst through me like the taste of lava.Â
“I–I really don’t know.”Â
“Twenty–five.”Â
My eyes almost bulged out of my socket, and my attempts to rephrase words were taken away when his palm made a steady collision against my flesh, which reverberated throughout the room like a sinful record.Â
My body lurched forward with every impact, and my breast rubbed uncomfortably on the surface. I sucked in breath several times, but only managed to steal more of it without giving me time to think or adjust.Â
“T–Twenty–five!” I yelled before he could even ask. Collapsing on the table, he stopped.Â
I hissed softly when he caressed against the burn, and I swallowed back a moan. Ares yanked me up, and my back pressed into his solid frame.Â

“You’re a fast learner,” he praised, his breath was so hot, it felt like my skin would melt off. “I can only imagine how good you’re gonna be when you fully submit
