The moment Hunter left, his buddies started scheming how to take good care of Dana–on their own twisted terms.
“Hey, did any of you catch that look on Hunter’s face just now? He actually seemed like he felt bad for this bitch. You think he’s really starting to fall for her? What about Celine?”
“No way. He literally just said Celine’s the only one he loves. Well, just to be safe, we better make sure there’s no chance of that ever changing.”
“Here’s the plan, boys. We take turns with her tonight. After that, Hunter will be so disgusted he’ll never want to see her again.”
“Finally, you’re using that brain of yours. I’m sick of watching how horny she looks when she throws herself at Hunter. Been dying to get a taste of her.”
Their eyes turned lecherous, one by one, filled with a sick kind of hunger as they looked at Dana.
Dana sensed the danger in the air. She forced herself up with an excuse. “I–I need to use the restroom.”
As she struggled to her feet, one of them blocked her path. “Where are you going, Dana? Want me to help you?”
He pretended to steady her, but his hands were already wandering where they shouldn’t.
Dana’s face went pale. “What are you doing? Get your hands off me!”
Her outrage only fueled their amusement. They laughed heartily.
Suddenly, one of them shoved her back onto the bed and pinned her down, his hands locking hers tightly above her head.
Dana kicked and twisted, but her attempt was useless. She could only scream in despair, “Let me go!”
“Haha, you follow Hunter around all day trying to seduce him, but can’t entertain me? If you please me, maybe when Hunter dumps you, I’ll take you in. How does that sound?”
“Dude,” another one snorted, “why even bother talking to her? You forgot? She’s deaf!”
That set off another wave of cruel laughter.
As Dana’s clothes were being ripped off, her screams grew louder.
Just as desperation took hold of her, a furious voice thundered from the entrance. “What the hell are you doing?!”
The room froze. “H–Hunter?! Y–You came back?”
Hunter stormed in and yanked the man off Dana, throwing him hard against the floor. He gathered Dana into his arms, whispering softly, “It’s okay. You’re safe now. I’m here.”
Realizing she couldn’t hear him, Hunter held her tighter and gently patted her back to comfort her.
Then he turned on the men, his eyes ablaze. “I told you to look after her–and this is what you do? You try to violate her? She’s mine. How dare you touch her? Who gave you the nerve?!”
The group cowered in silence. The man on the ground scrambled for a way out and blurted, “Y–Your woman? Hunter, don’t forget-

you’ve always told us that Celine is the only one for you. That bitch on the bed? She’s just a pawn to help Celine get her memory
back!”
The others caught on and chimed in, trying to shift the blame. “Yeah! Weren’t you with Celine? Why’d you come back?”
“You seriously ran out on Celine just to check on her?” one added, nodding toward Dana. “You better not be catching feelings for
her.”
“That’s ridiculous!” Hunter snapped. “H–how is that possible? I love Celine. Only Celine!”
“Then why’d you even come back? Worried we might hurt Dana? Don’t forget–everything we did tonight was for Celine, to help her recover. So how’s any of this on us? Now you show up and act like we’re the bad guys? What about Celine? What do you think she’d say?”
Just as Hunter opened his mouth to argue, his phone rang. It was Celine. Her soft, needy voice came through the speaker. “Hunter, where are you? Why aren’t you here yet? I–I don’t feel so good.”
