“Thanks, Mrs. Schmitt.” Adelaide was eating her food when she 

couldn’t help but ask the question on her mind, “Mrs. Schmitt, 

why didn’t your son’s family go back to their country?” 

Cierra looked a bit sad and a little angry, “He’s dead.”

give in and apologize to him.” 

“He’s not crazy, just mentally ill,” Teresa complained, “He used to
