Adelaide sneered, “Dad, I’m not your biological daughter. I 

remember all these years of raising me. If you feel that I don’t fit 

in with the Pierce family anymore, you can just be honest and 

say it.” 

“On one hand, I gave up Garrett for Amanda. We haven’t even 

gotten our divorce certificates yet, and you’re already rushing 

to find me a blind date. Don’t you think you’re being too pushy?” 

“Since they really don’t like me that much, I’m cutting ties with 

the Pierce family. I’ll pay back every penny they spent on me.
