She pondered, wondering how much Reginald really knew 

about her. 

Two hours later, Eldoria arrived. 

For peace and quiet, Adelaide didn’t turn off airplane mode, she 

just left it on. 

Another half an hour drive, they arrived at a five–star hotel in 

the city center. 

They got the key card and took the elevator up. 

At this point, Reginald turned to her and said, “I needed to meet 

with two clients. Do you want to stay at the hotel or go out for a 

walk?” 

At the same time, Nathan handed her a set of car keys, “It’s 

inconvenient to take a taxi. This is Mr. Thorton’s car parked at this hotel, a sky blue Bentley Continental. Ms. Pierce finds it 

more convenient to drive herself when going out.” 

She roughly guessed that Reginald was coming to Eldoria on a business trip and bringing her along to help her gather 

inspiration. She graciously took the car keys and said, “Thank you, Mr. Thorton.” 

The elevator opened, but Reginald handed her a cellphone. 

Adelaide was stunned. 

He said, “Let me know how I can reach you, and keep your phone on airplane mode.” 

“How did he know she didn’t turn on airplane mode?”

If I can’t reach him later, it’s not good. Adelaide had to take the phone and thanked again, “Thank you, Mr. Thorton.” 

“Take your time.” Reginald waved his hand and left. 

Adelaide walked into her room with her luggage, right next to Reginald. 

She sat on the sofa, rubbed her sore forehead, picked up the phone Reginald gave her, swiped it gently, no password… 

You can tell someone has been using the phone. 

But Reginald gave it to her, doesn’t mean it’s his personal 

phone…

“Your phone is just my spare phone. Usually, only when 

someone can’t reach me will they call your phone. So don’t 

worry, no one will call that phone for no reason.” 

She was so grateful to him for calling to comfort her just in time. 

She smirked and said, “Mr. Thorton, even if it’s a spare phone, 

this is still your personal phone. Is it really appropriate for you

her bag and went downstairs to the underground garage.

After unlocking the car keys, Adelaide couldn’t believe that someone like Reginald would have such a fairy–like colored 

luxury car. 

Having a girly heart hidden inside doesn’t seem like a bad thing 

after all. 

Just as she was about to open the car door, a woman suddenly appeared in front of her, holding a stick in front of her with both hands and said, “This is Reginald’s car, why do you have 

the car keys?”
