She ran very fast, her twisted expression on her face was clearly seen by Reginald. His dark eyes narrowed, got up, grabbed a bottle of lemon soda from the drinks area, and casually went to the bathroom. 

In the bathroom, Adelaide dry heaved several times, but nothing came out. After she forced herself not to think about those disgusting images, the feeling of nausea gradually disappeared. 

He went crazy, thinking about what to do for no reason.

Washed my hands, Adelaide walked out of the bathroom. 

Reginald was standing against the wall when she noticed him.

wash your hands too?” 

“I found you.” 

“Adelaide paused for two seconds, thinking he was asking about her conversation with Abigail.” “Mr. Thorton, don’t worry, Ms. 

Murray wasn’t looking for me to ask about you.” 

Reginald handed her the lemon soda with a cold and unreadable expression, saying, “It helps with nausea.” 

“Thanks…” Adelaide thought he must have seen her running to the bathroom. 

At that moment, the man crouched down, his deep eyes reflecting Adelaide’s stunned face. “Adelaide, is it true that you divorced Garrett?” 

Adelaide clearly didn’t expect him to ask that at this moment, she raised her eyebrows and replied, “Well, yeah!” 

“Since it’s true, just cut ties cleanly, don’t leave anything that could easily bind two people for a lifetime.”” 

Adelaide looked confused.

Reginald has left, Adelaide casually went back to the restaurant, only to find that he and Nathan were both gone. Abigail 

couldn’t wait to go back and try out her plan, so she waved 

goodbye and left.

appetite and waited for the elevator alone.

Lucas Bradshaw, he was Spencer’s friend…! 

When Adelaide instinctively turned around to hide, Lucas had already noticed her. 

“Adelaide?!” Lucas shouted at her. 

He stepped out of the elevator and stood in front of Adelaide, looking her up and down before exclaiming, “It’s really you, Adelaide! You’re actually in Eldoria. Do you know that Spence has been going crazy looking for you these past few days?” 

Lucas couldn’t wait to pull out his phone, “I gotta call Spence right away and tell him you’re in Eldoria.” 

Upon hearing this, Adelaide’s face turned pale and she exclaimed, “No way!” 

Lucas was startled by her yelling, but he already knew quite a bit about the Pierce family. He gently urged, “Adelaide, I feel 

sorry for what you’ve been through. But disappearing like this 

really scared Spence. Do you know how worried he was about 

you?” 

Worried about her? 

I guess we should have found her and then forced her to leave 

the country. 

Adelaide calmed down, “Lucas, I came to Eldoria for some 

business and I don’t want to be disturbed. I hope you can do me 

a favor as a friend and not tell Spencer for now. Once I finish 

my business, I’ll go back to Evercrest! 

“Were you alone in Eldoria?” Lucas asked. 

“No,” Adelaide nodded slightly, “Lucas, I have something to do, 

I’m leaving.” 

Lucas wanted to say something else, but she had already taken 

the elevator up. 

He wondered, does Adelaide have any friends in Eldoria? 

Probably not. 

Thinking about this, he still stood there anxiously until he saw 

the elevator was stopped on the 13th floor. So he took the other 

elevator up.
