At that moment, his eyes were already shooting out murderous 

and angry looks at Spencer. 

Spencer noticed that Adelaide was not struggling at all, just 

standing there beside him. He never imagined that the man 

Adelaide knew would turn out to be Reginald!

How did Adele meet Reginald? How did they meet? When did

can understand,” said Reginald nonchalantly. 

Spencer took a deep breath and asked directly, ‘Mr. Thorton,

Spencer’s eyes flashed with anger, and after a moment, he 

looked at Adelaide and said in a commanding tone, “Adele, come 

here.” 

He was making a choice for Adelaide. 

If she had just come over quietly, he could have sorted out this 

mess with Reginald and pretended like nothing had happened. 

Adelaide clenched her fists, gritted her teeth, she hated 

Adelaide’s controlling behavior. “Dude, I’m not a three–year–old.”

the angry Teresa beside him.

Adelaide’s face froze as she walked past Reginald and saw Spencer standing inside. He didn’t move, but stared at her with anger, resentment, and disappointment in his eyes. 

It means never giving up. 

She felt a sinking feeling in her heart.
