“Here’s the situation. Ms. Randall said that since you’ve only just joined the company and don’t have much project experience, she wants Mr. Eric to co–lead the project with you.”

Most importantly, there wasn’t even any surveillance there. Even though Alice was a hacker, in a relatively underdeveloped area like that, computer technology wouldn’t be much help. 

“Ms. Spencer, please think this through.” 

Alice waved her hand again. 

“Ruby being suspended is a good start. 

“But do you really think she’s the only one who wanted to dump this project on me?” 

Janice froze. She didn’t quite understand. 

But she still followed behind Alice. 

After stepping out, Alice glanced toward Chloe’s desk. 

“Strange. Chloe isn’t here yet?” 

Janice nodded. “Her husband extended her leave.”
