She turned and apologized to Eric again.

She then glanced at Stella nearby. “Why are you here too? Hurry up and help me talk to Mrs. Nolan!”

“Useless,” Rosalie muttered. 

Then she turned back to Alice with a flattering tone.

“As long as you say the word, we are willing to do anything. Whatever it costs, we just hope you can forgive my daughter.” 

Sophie was stunned. “Mom, why?” 

“You don’t understand. Shut up!” Rosalie snapped. 

Only then did Alice speak slowly, “If Ms. Stella accepts your apology, then I can let this go, too.” 

Rosalie and her husband were shocked. 

Sophie froze as well. 

Then all three of them turned to look at Stella. 

Stella was just as surprised and looked at Alice. 

Alice’s expression stayed calm and unchanged.
