She was stubborn and determined to push through, even though she could have postponed her tasks.

“Mrs. Spencer, you shouldn’t linger here. Our party is about to start,” a staff member urged, stepping forward. 

They needed to keep things moving and avoid a crowd at the entrance.

As they entered the room, Alice felt an unsettling sensation, as if someone was watching her.

Alice snapped back to reality and looked at him. 

“Can you ask Daniel to keep an eye out? I feel something’s off.” 

As soon as she spoke, Eric signaled to Daniel, who quickly left the room. 

Almost immediately, the feeling of being watched faded. 

“Ms. Spencer,” Windsor approached with excitement sparkling in his eyes. 

“It’s really you!” He beamed, “Aurelia! I barely recognized you!” 

The name Aurelia sent shockwaves through the art community. 

Aurelia? 

It’s Alice? 

This must be a joke! 

They knew Alice was an excellent racer and later learned she was a good doctor. 

Then there was her incredible hacking skill. 

And now? 

What did Windsor say? 

Aurelia on top of that? 

She’s a painter too! 

This was almost too surreal to believe. 

Alice saw that her cover was blown. There was no way to hide it now. She could only give an awkward smile.

Alice felt guilty. 

She had not published any new work, but not because she failed; she had been too busy lately.

He was jealous.

Windsor froze for a second. He looked Damon up and down again.

“I can’t believe I missed it,” Windsor said. “You two are siblings. You should’ve said so earlier.” 

“Aurelia,” Windsor continued, smiling, “since this is your brother, I can break my rule for you. I’ll take him as my mentee.” 

Of course, the price for this favor was Aurelia’s artwork and more than one piece. 

Damon was stunned. 

He had come over to expose Alice. He wanted Windsor to see how cold she was to her family. 

If he couldn’t gain Windsor’s favor, then no one should.
