In a hazy sleep, Tracy heard her phone ring. Without looking, she turned over and continued sleeping.
The call ended automatically.
Tracy had a recurring fever for two days. On the third day, the fever finally broke.
Soon, her discharge day arrived.
She returned home. Jennie quickly greeted her, ook the items from her hand, and brought her a pair of slippers.
Jennie said apologetically, “Madam Tracy, I am so sorry. I wanted to bring you food, but the madam wouldn’t let me. She said you did something wrong and needed to reflect properly on where you went wrong.”
Tracy curved her lips, letting out a mocking smile. Hailey truly was shameless as ever.
Afraid that Tracy would be too comfortable, she would sabotage her every now and then. Tracy had mentioned this to Chandler before.
In the beginning, he would still console her, “Mom is old, and she doesn’t live with us. You don’t have to pay attention to her.”
But later, Chandler gradually grew impatient, claiming she was overly fussy. He was busy enough every day and had to deal with her in-law issues, so he told her not to bother him again.
But now, nothing mattered. Whatever Hailey did was irrelevant to her.

The package, sent via same-city express, looked like an official document. The recipient was Tracy.
To send a document within the same house via courier meant Chandler hadn’t been home for a long time!
Tracy tore open the package, pulled out the letter, and a sneer practically spilled from the corners of her mouth when she saw the words ‘Lawyer’s Letter.’
Chandler was serious. He actually intended to sue her. Fine, he shouldn’t blame her for retaliating.
Jennie also saw the words “Lawyer’s Letter.” She looked shocked. Meanwhile, Tracy looked calm.
She seemed to have already anticipated that Chandler would send a lawyer’s letter. Jennie couldn’t understand why they couldn’t just talk things out. He had to send his wife a lawyer’s letter while she was hospitalized.

It even included a copy of the receipt as evidence, indicating he had come prepared.
Tracy curved her lips and called a number. The ine rang as if the person on the other end was deliberately ignoring her call. The phone hung up without being answered.
Tracy wasn’t annoyed. She found her WhatsApp snapped a photo of the divorce agreement, and sent it with the caption: “2 PM, See you at Serendipity Cafe. If you don’t show, you’ll bear the consequences.”

She had heard her brother say he had sent Tracy a lawyer’s letter and that if Tracy didn’t pay within three days, they would meet in court.
Thinking this, Renee’s mood soared. She could finally vent her anger.
