He wrapped an arm around Judy’s waist and said, “Darling, don’t waste your breath on him. Let’s wrap this up quickly.
“We still need to focus on the move abroad. As for this clown–leave him to the police.”
Judy gave a small nod, her expression unreadable.
She had to admit, she agreed with Kenneth’s words.
This employee might’ve been useful in the past, but in the end, he was still just that–an employee.
They couldn’t expect people like that to stay loyal forever.
Judy understood that all too well.
That was why she never clung to anything too tightly.
As long as things ended cleanly and peacefully, that was the best outcome she could ask for.
“Call the police. I won’t waste another word.”
Hearing that, Kenneth didn’t hesitate. He immediately called in a contact at the station to come handle it.
They’d already wasted too much time.
And Brian–he wasn’t even worth the time they’d spent.
Still trying to squirm his way out, Brian opened his mouth, but a few irritated employees had already slapped duct tape over it.
Before leaving, someone even kicked him.
“That’s enough. He’s a clown, and I’m sick of watching him jump around trying to sound righteous.”
“Exactly! What a disgrace!”
One after another, they each gave him a solid kick.
Judy didn’t say anything as she watched the scene.
Of course, she knew what was going on.
They were all fighting to prove themselves, hoping to secure a spot in the studio’s future leadership.
Once she left the country, this studio would become a hollow shell
But with a few loyal clients still around, if managed well, it could sll be a valuable asset.
Judy didn’t resent these people for wanting to climb the ladder.
As long as someone worked hard to earn what they wanted, she had no problem with that.
But using underhanded tactics? That was a different story.
Even if someone did get what they wanted that way, could they rely guarantee they’d hide it for the rest of their life without anyone ever finding out?
The thought made Judy chuckle softly.
When the police arrived, she gave them a brief explanation and let hem take Brian away.
In the end, Brian was arrested for harassment.
On top of that, Judy did follow through–she blacklisted him from he entire industry.
