The stylists couldn’t help but envy such a love.
Each of them secretly dreamed about when sweet romance would come their way.
In the end, the manager personally saw the couple off to their car.
When she returned, she found her employees all starry–eyed, faces practically glowing pink.
They looked helplessly at their manager. “When will sweet love ever come our way?”
“Exactly, those two are just too perfect together.”
“Looks and presence–both of them are top–tier.”
One of them groaned, covering her face. “Figures. I must be nothing more than a lump of clay that fate forgot to shape.”
The manager shook her head. “Alright, enough sighing. Back to work. If you don’t, forget romance–you won’t even see your paycheck.”
The moment she said that, everyone realized the seriousness of the situation and hurried back to their
stations.
They might not have that kind of love, but having this job was already something to be grateful for.
In life, it was better to think long term, not get stuck on just one thing, especially in today’s world–career- mindedness paid a lot better than love–struck daydreaming.
So, they had to keep working hard.
Once Aurora and Lucas were in the car, he kept his gaze fixed on her.
The intensity of it made Aurora feel self–conscious.
She touched her cheek and hesitated before speaking. “Why are you staring at me like that?”
His gaze had already unsettled her back in the studio, and now that they were outside, it was even more
obvious.
With eyes that heated, it was impossible for her to ignore.
Lucas, unbothered, replied simply, “Because you’re beautiful. And besides, I’m only looking at my own
wife.”
Aurora teased softly, “Don’t you ever get tired of looking at me?”

Lucas countered, “How could I? You’re my wife, my rose that I’ve nurtured with care. All it proves is that I
know how to keep a flower alive.”
“There’s a saying–‘A wife’s beauty is a husband’s pride.“”
Aurora’s red lips parted slightly as she stared at him, her eyes wide with shock, surprise, and above all, deep emotion.
Before, Lucas had never spoken to her so directly.
But now, he was open and unreserved in expressing his love.
Maybe it was because ever since waking up abroad, Aurora had been left with a fragile sense of security.
Yet everything Lucas did seemed to fill in those empty spaces.
She no longer feared he would leave her. She had seen the truth with her own eyes–when she had lain unconscious in that hospital bed, his devotion had already proved it.
Her eyes turned red with emotion. “Lucas, thank you.”
“Thank you for never leaving me. Not just during the days I was in a coma, but even now.”
He cared for her daily life, gave her the warmth of a home, and slowly lifted her spirits bit by bit.
No matter what, he stayed by her side, encouraging her, helping her grow.
These were things she had never learned alone.
But now, with someone leading the way, life felt brighter, fuller than before.
She didn’t need to overthink anymore–she just had to focus on her work.
Beyond that, there was nothing else she needed to worry about.
