Chapter 1189
“Don’t worry, Madam Grace, I recorded everything,” Jason replied crisply.
His words froze everyone in place; none of them understood what he meant, especially Ronald.
He jabbed his cane toward Grace.
“What’s the meaning of this? Do you plan to drag us old folks into court?”
“That’s exactly my plan.” Grace let out a light laugh.
“All of you–old, young, and in–between–crowding into my office, demanding my shares and my position. If that’s not intimidation, then what is? I’ll charge you with threats and extortion.
“I’d love to see how you side–branch parasites enjoy life behind bars.”
Her lips curved coldly; it was clear she truly intended to go down fighting with them today.
“You woman… after all these years, how can you still be this insane?” Ronald’s lips trembled, his hunched body shaking with fury.
He hadn’t imagined Grace could still be this unyielding. Even now, she refused to let go of power, clinging on with what he thought were pointless struggles.
Jason, dead serious, added, “Mr. Walton, if I hand this evidence over, I can’t guarantee your sons or descendants will be able to hold onto any position in this company.
“Right now, you enjoy Walton Corporation’s dividends only because Madam Grace has been merciful. Otherwise, you’d have been cut out long ago.”
His words left the group hesitant. They knew very well that on their own, they couldn’t sustain the
company.
But now, Grace had pushed out the only person who could continue leading the corporation forward. What would become of the company then?
“Fine, have it your way,” Ronald spat, pointing his cane at Grace.
“After all these years, you still refuse to yield. You clutch power so tightly. If it were your younger daughter running this company, I wouldn’t object.
“But now you’ve driven Aurora out. How will you answer for the company’s losses?”
“This is my concern alone. I don’t need your advice, nor your meddling,” Grace said, turning away, unwilling to waste another glance on the old man.
She was exhausted after sparring with him for so long.

Since William’s death, she had walked this path alone, holding the company together. It hadn’t been easy.
Yet these old men had never once given her peace–not for a single moment. Why should she show them
courtesy now?
If they were unwilling to let her live in peace, then from now on, they could forget about their dividends
altogether.
“If you refuse to leave, not only will the side branches lose their say, but you’ll no longer receive a share of the dividends,” Grace said with a smile that never reached her eyes.
“I’ve made myself perfectly clear. Are you still planning to stand here wasting my time?”
Hearing this, Ronald finally led the group out of her office.
He knew staying any longer would do them no good. But walking away so easily left him bitterly unwilling.
At the door, Ronald turned back, staring at the office behind him, and let out a helpless sigh.
One of the others from the side branch asked, “Uncle, are we really just giving up like this? Are we not going to take back the company’s shares and her seat?”
