Chapter 1538Â
“Alright, everyone,” the director announced in a clear voice. “We’ll first head into the museum to tour the international exhibits, focusing mainly on our country’s own collection.”Â
He continued, “As you all know, our show is an educational program centered on architecture. It’s designed to be engaging, dynamic, and highly interactive.Â
“During the entire recording, we’ll be broadcasting live. If anyone has feedback or wants to make adjustments, feel free to let me know anytime.”Â
The director had always been known for his easygoing and considerate approach, and he believed a show should reflect that same spirit.Â
So, when he said this, neither the celebrities nor the ordinary guests voiced any objections.Â
He then went on to formally introduce Yvonne’s background.Â
After hearing it, everyone murmured in surprise. They’d all heard bits and pieces about Yvonne’s influence overseas, but none of them expected the show to have the pull to invite someone like her to serve as a judge.Â
Yvonne basked in the admiration around her, feeling smug. She couldn’t resist glancing over at Aurora, only to find that Aurora wasn’t paying her the slightest attention, as if completely indifferent.Â
The sight made Yvonne’s fingers curl into her palm. There was no way she believed Aurora didn’t care.Â
They were both women-she knew exactly what went through Aurora’s mind.Â
It was jealousy, plain and simple, just hidden beneath that calm exterior.Â
“Everyone here is a leader in their field,” Yvonne said casually, her tone light but deliberate. “Take Miss Lina Fox, for instance. She’s from the film industry. I read online that you recently won the Best Newcomer Award, didn’t you?”Â
Lina froze, caught off guard. She hadn’t expected Yvonne to suddenly call her out.Â
After all, she was only here because her agency had arranged it.Â
Even though Lina wasn’t particularly interested in architecture and had always seen herself as a minor figure in the industry, she hadn’t expected anyone to notice or care about her at all.Â
“Miss Song, you’re far too kind. Compared to you, what I do is nothing more than child’s play.”Â
Lina’s tone carried a touch of flattery. She knew perfectly well who held real power in this circle and who merely played at the edges of it.Â
She was just a small-time actress in the film industry, and people like her survived only because the true power players stood behind them. In the eyes of those capital giants, they were nothing more than pawns on a board.Â
Lina was fully aware of her place. She had no right to judge or compete-her only option was to flatter.Â
Sure enough, Yvonne looked even more pleased by her words, her smile deepening.Â
“Miss Fox, you flatter me. There’s really no hierarchy in our business. We’re all just trying to make a living.”Â

Turning to the others, Yvonne added smoothly, “Honestly, I think everyone here should just focus on doing their best. It’s not easy for anyone in this field. We all work hard, and I truly think Miss Fox is remarkable.”Â
Everyone else fell silent.Â
