Seeing the message, Aurora finally let out a sigh of relief. 

She hadn’t quite figured out what she would do if Lucas happened to run into Yvonne. 

After all, the two had been longtime business partners, while she and Lucas had only met halfway through his life. 

Yes, they were legally married, but Lucas and Yvonne had years of seamless cooperation–something she couldn’t just insert herself into overnight.

“Well, that you might lose sleep over what happened on set. I mean, who would’ve guessed Yvonne would show up as a judge?” 

At that, Aurora couldn’t help laughing. Megan looked like she’d been the one carrying all the anxiety while she herself felt completely fine. 

“How could I possibly dwell on that? Besides, I’m not the type to swallow my anger. I always strike back on the spot. I already put her in her place yesterday,” Aurora said with an easy smile. 

Megan thought back to the scene and realized she was right. Aurora hadn’t let herself be bullied at all. Every time Yvonne tried to provoke her, she had countered perfectly. 

Honestly, Megan thought Aurora had handled it exactly right. Having a friend like her made her feel a lot more secure. 

“I’m really glad you can see it that way.” Megan stepped inside and began setting the breakfast neatly on the table. 

“Come on, eat up. You’ve got a full day of filming ahead. You’ll need all the energy you can get, so don’t even think about skipping a meal.“. 

“Alright, my little housekeeper,” Aurora teased, her smile soft and amused. 

As they ate, Megan scrolled through her phone, checking the online discussions about the show. But the more she looked, the more confused she became. 

“That’s weird. Why is it so quiet online?” she muttered under her breath. 

Hearing that, Aurora raised an eyebrow. “What’s wrong? What do you mean it’s quiet?”
