Chapter 1273
“So, working with you is nothing but beneficial.”
Hearing this, Megan’s face lit up with pride. She had always known Aurora was the best.
Aurora could see that Daniel’s face held nothing but sincerity as he spoke–there wasn’t the slightest hint of a joke.
Because of that, she realized he truly wanted to work with her.
Aurora smiled. “Since you put it that way, Mr. Lewis, if I keep delaying, it would make me seem ungrateful.”
“No, that’s not what I meant,” Daniel explained earnestly. “I really value your talent, Miss Walton. That’s why I want to work with you.”
“In that case,
let’s wish for a successful partnership.”
Aurora’s sudden response left Daniel stunned.
“So you’re saying… you’re willing to work with me?” His face still showed surprise.
Aurora gave a slight nod. “Of course. This is exactly the kind of opportunity I’ve been hoping for. Why would I refuse?”
Megan beamed beside her. “That’s wonderful! Who would’ve thought our studio, so new to the scene, would land such a big project so soon?”
“We really have to thank Mr. Lewis for this,” Aurora added generously.
The truth was, she was surprised herself.
A powerful businessman like Daniel surely had no shortage of people vying to work with him.
And yet, he’d held this project until now, willing to offer it to her. That alone made her feel it was a rare chance.
That was why she was determined to take the project seriously.
Daniel quickly responded, “Miss Walton, you’re far too modest. This project was always meant to be a win–win. Being able to work with you is my honor as well.”
“Then let’s both make it a win–win.”
Though Aurora hesitated for a moment, she still accepted the project.
After all, only a fool would turn away money. Even if this project had originally been discussed with the Walton Corporation.
But now that she had already left the Walton Corporation, and the partner no longer wanted to work with the old company, why should she force it?
Projects like this were meant to be win–win situations.

If she kept insisting Daniel work with the Walton Corporation, it would be meaningless. Besides, this was a golden chance to build her studio’s reputation.
Who would have thought a brand–new little studio could land such a huge project on the Southside land?
Once this news spread, many people would surely be stunned.
Daniel then opened his briefcase and handed the contract to Aurora. “Miss Walton, have a look. If everything’s in order, we can sign right away.”
Aurora was surprised. She hadn’t expected Daniel to be more eager than she was.
She had thought she’d be the one in a rush, but clearly, he wanted the deal sealed even faster.
Though curious, she didn’t question it.
“Alright, let me review the contract first.”
Still, she couldn’t shake the feeling–if he was so impatient, could there be a catch in the contract?
Yet after reading through it, she found no issues at all. On the contrary, Daniel had even made concessions in her favor.
Aurora raised a brow, meeting Daniel’s uneasy gaze. There was even a trace of nervousness on his face, and her suspicion only deepened.
