Chapter 1573Â
Megan turned away and muttered, “Why are people always this nosy?”Â
Aurora had felt awkward at first, but once she adjusted to the stares, the discomfort faded.Â
She even laughed softly. “It’s fine. It’s human nature, really. I get it. If I were them, I’d probably be curious about how things would play out too.”Â
“You’ve got a better attitude than I ever could,” Megan said, giving her a thumbs–up.Â
Aurora just smiled in response. She was about to say something when she noticed the director waving her over. After giving Megan a quick nod, she walked toward him.Â
“How did you sleep last night?” he asked as soon as she approached.Â
His concern caught her a little off guard, but she smiled. “Thank you for asking. I actually slept quite well.”Â
“Good to hear. So, are you clear on today’s project flow?”Â
Aurora nodded and began reciting everything she knew about the day’s schedule. Once she finished, the director couldn’t help but look surprised.Â
She knew it all, down to the details.Â
“I didn’t expect that,” he said, his eyes lighting up. “Honestly, I thought you were joking yesterday.‘Â
Aurora didn’t seem surprised.Â
People often judged her by appearances, assuming she wasn’t serious about her work.Â
She chuckled lightly. “Of course not. Since I agreed to be part of this project, I made sure to study the entire format carefully.Â
“It’s the only way to do my job properly. If I were just here to coast through it, I wouldn’t even bother staying. It’d waste both your time and mine.”Â
Hearing that, the director’s eyes gleamed with approval.Â
The director hadn’t expected Aurora to be this genuine in her work. He realized now that he had completely misjudged her.Â
At first, he’d assumed she was just another agreeable sponsor, one of those wealthy investors who had to be handled with care.Â
In his mind, she was one of the capital types: difficult to please, easy to offend, and used to being catered to.Â
But standing before him now, he could see that Aurora was nothing like that.Â
Her attitude, composure, and ability to handle things were on par with seasoned professionals, if not better.Â
She was even more dedicated than most of them.Â
It was rare to see someone with both money and status work this hard.Â
“I owe you an apology, Miss Walton,” the director said sincerely. “I really did have the wrong impression of you.”Â
Aurora looked a little embarrassed by his honesty.Â

“Oh, there’s no need to apologize,” she said with a smile. “After all, you were the one who gave me this opportunity. If you hadn’t noticed me when you did, I wouldn’t even be part of this project.”Â
Her smile brightened as she added, “Besides, this whole arrangement benefits both of us. You gave me a platform, and I get to promote my studio through your show. I should be the one thanking you.”Â
Hearing that, the director finally remembered the original deal. They’d agreed from the start that this collaboration would be mutually beneficial.Â
She would bring visibility to his show, and in return, she’d get the exposure her studio needed.Â
