Next door, Julian had already moved in. It was a high–end three–bedroom apartment, though the interior was honestly pretty average.
Noah had originally planned to remodel everything first–get brand–new furniture, give the place a makeover -then let Julian move in. But Julian didn’t want to wait.
Noah did what he could. The place was deep–cleaned, every piece of furniture was replaced, and then Julian moved in.
Noah said, a bit hesitantly, “Mr. Frost, time was tight, so this was all I could manage. Why don’t you stay in the hotel for a couple more days? I can get the decorators in right away.”
Hel
knew full well the apartment’s current style didn’t match Julian’s status at all.
Julian waved him off. “No need. This is fine.”
Noah thought, As long as it’s about Ms. Blackwood, Mr. Frost is willing to put up with anything. What else can I say?‘
Julian suddenly asked, “Noah, tell me how I should approach her naturally. I don’t want to mess up the first
move.”

“Sorry, sir. I can’t help you with that.” Noah said, holding up both hands. “You know, I’ve never even been in a relationship.”
Julian nodded. “Right. If you had any clue, you wouldn’t still be single.”
Noah felt personally attacked. He thought bitterly, ‘What’s wrong with being single? If I wasn’t stuck to you. 24/7, maybe I’d have a girlfriend by now!
Julian smirked, “Alright, you can leave.”
Once he was alone in the apartment, Julian couldn’t help smiling inwardly, “The girl I’ve dreamed about, searched for, thought of every day for three years is just next door.
He wondered what Luna might be doing at this moment. The more he thought, the more worked up he became. Unable to fall asleep, he stepped out onto the balcony.
By chance, Luna was on the balcony of her home too. She leaned against the railing, lost in thought.
She wore a soft mauve nightgown, her long hair flowing down her shoulders. From Julian’s angle, she looked flawless and breathtaking. He could hardly take his eyes off her.
Sensing the intensity of his stare, Luna turned around and met Julian’s deep eyes.
Recognizing him, Luna raised her eyebrows, thinking. That’s the guy I met in the KFC earlier. Seeing him twice in one day? Coincidence, or something else? Either way, this guy doesn’t give off ordinary vibes.

Julian noticed her gaze and gave a polite smile. “Hi, I’m Julian Frost. Just moved in next door. Hope we can get along.
“Mm.” Luna responded casually, didn’t say more, and turned back into her room.
Julian stayed where he was, smiling to himself internally, ‘Her voice still sounds just as beautiful.
The next morning, Sophia left early for work. Ethan was dropped off at preschool. Luna, like always, got up at five for her morning run.
In the elevator, she ran into Julian. He was also in workout gear, clearly planning to go exercise too.
Julian spoke up. “I’m new here. Don’t really know the area yet. Mind if I join you for your run?”
“If you can keep up, Luna said without looking at him. She didn’t say no, though. She figured most people wouldn’t be able to handle her pace anyway.
Taking her answer as a yes, Julian followed without hesitation.
He kept up effortlessly along the way. These past three years had changed him a lot. Now, wherever she went or whatever she wanted to do, he was ready to be there by her side. He swore he wouldn’t fall behind again.
