“Take them down, Judy ordered the officers. They were Eliot’s men, and of course they would listen to her.

If this had happened in the past, Luna might have been touched. But after learning Olivia’s true face, Luna only felt disgust.
“Olivia, today is your big day. The guests here are all powerful and wealthy. We can’t let the brat cause trouble and embarrass our family,” Judy said coldly. For her, maintaining their family’s image was everything.
“Ms. Blackwood, sorry about this, but please cooperate,” one officer said, stepping forward to grab Luna.
Luna gave a cold laugh. “And what crime exactly have I committed? Since when does Metroville’s Warfare Division arrest innocent civilians?”
Even the Division had no right to haul someone in without cause.
“Ms. Blackwood, if you refuse to cooperate, I’ll have to do this the hard way. The officer didn’t go Instead, he moved toward Ethan.
for Luna.
Seeing this, Celeste felt thrilled. She thought with a smug smile, ‘Luna, you really think you’re someone special? Acting tough in front of Grandma like that. Let’s see how far you get now.”
Olivia’s eyes burned with malice too. She was already an officer in the Warfare Division. Even the lowest- ranked officer was untouchable in Metroville.
Оп top of that, she was the student of the famous herbalist, Zoe Sinclair. Either of those titles alone gave Olivia power that Luna could never match.
Luna raised her brows, thinking, “Looks like the first thing I’ll need to do in Metroville is make life miserable for the Warfare Division.
Just as everyone was waiting for Luna to get crushed, she flipped the tables and dropped one of the officers with ease.
The man stared up from the floor, his eyes wide with disbelief. He thought he had underestimated Luna.
“Luna, are you insane? Do you even know who they are? How dare you attack them?” Judy exploded with fury.
Not even Judy herself would dare touch the Warfare Division. In the Ironrile Empire, attacking an officer was a deadly crime. But Luna had done it without hesitation.
Sophia rushed in front of Luna and protested, “Judy, Donald is gone. Why keep pushing us like this?” In her heart, she knew this was all Judy’s scheme.
Everyone in the Empire knew the rule–no one laid hands on the Division. Now that Luna had, they would never let it slide.

Judy sneered. “Stupid woman, even now, you still defend this troublemaker? Doesn’t she know what happens when she attacks the officers?”
She was certain of it. No matter how strong Luna was, she was as good as dead. In the Empire, fighting the Warfare Division officers meant a death sentence.
“You..” Sophia’s voice shook with despair. “You just want my company, don’t you? Take it. Just let my children and me go.”
To her, money could always be earned again. But if she lost her family, it was over forever.
Judy’s smile spread, smug and cruel. “If only you’d thought of that sooner, Sophia.” Judy knew she’d always get what she wanted.
“You’re a liar. I won’t let you hurt them, Ethan shouted. Seeing his mother and sister being bullied, he suddenly charged at Judy, trying to push her.
“Grandma, watch out, Olivia cried, rushing to block Ethan. She then raised her hand, ready to strike Ethan.
“Ethan, Sophia screamed in horror. Olivia was a Five–Star Martial Artist. If she laid a hand on Ethan, the result would be unthinkable.
The panic and rage overwhelmed her, and Sophia coughed up blood on the spot.
But before Olivia’s hand could touch Ethan, Luna moved like lightning. She snatched Ethan into her arms and slammed a punch into Olivia’s chest.
Olivia let out a muffled groan.
Luna hadn’t even used her full power, but that strike carried seven–tenths of her strength. Olivia staggered backward, unable to steady herself, and crashed right into Judy, who was standing behind her. Both of them fell to the floor.
Judy, old and frail, felt her bones scream with pain from the impact. The commotion was so loud that guests from the ballroom rushed over. When they saw the scene, they froze in shock, eyes wide with disbelief.
Olivia, who h
had always been the proud, untouchable officer of the Metroville Warfare Division, was now sprawled in disgrace on the floor. And Judy, the dignified matriarch, looked no better, covered in dust.
In contrast, Luna stood tall, holding young Ethan protectively in her arms. Her beautiful, sharp face carried a vibe of natural command, like a queen no one could challenge.
Celeste let out a shrill scream. “Luna, how could you do this? How could you lay hands on Grandma? You’re heartless.” She raised her voice deliberately after seeing witnesses gather. “Grandma, are you okay? Should I call a doctor right now?”
Whispers rippled through the crowd. One of them said, “What the hell? What makes Luna so proud, except for her pretty face? Her heart is rotten. She even dares hit her grandmother.”
Another person echoed, “Wasn’t she locked up five years ago for killing someone? Looks like she hasn’t changed at all.”

Another person scoffed, “She probably came here just to cause trouble. Eliot was supposed to marry her. Now that he dumped Luna for Olivia, she’s throwing a tantrum.”
“If I were Eliot, I’d choose Olivia too. She’s sweet and gentle. Luna? Stay with her, and you’d risk ending up dead, another man snorted.
Sophia’s heart twisted as she heard those cruel words aimed at her daughter. She rushed to Luna’s side, shielding Luna with her own body. No matter how powerless she was, she would protect her children.
“Honey, let’s go. Let’s leave this place.” Sophia didn’t want Luna to hear another poisonous word.
“Leave? You think you can just walk out now?” one of the officers sneered. “Luna, you dared attack people from the Warfare Division. You’re not going anywhere today.”
A dozen more officers stepped forward, blocking every exit.
Celeste rushed to help Judy to her feet. Olivia, already climbing up herself, straightened her back. With so many eyes on her, she couldn’t afford to look weak.
In Metroville, she was the rising power of the Blackwood family. She had to protect her image, no n what.
