“Grandma, I have a suggestion. Olivia said, her voice cutting through the tense silence,
Everyone’s hopes were now pinned on her, their last resort. They all knew she had a bright future, and they trusted her judgment completely.
*Since Luna has shown no mercy, we don’t need to be polite either, Olivia continued. “Luna is powerful, but what if we kidnap Sophia and Ethan?” She knew Luna’s family was her only weakness.
“Hmm, I think Olivia’s idea is good,” Judy said, her voice laced with hesitation. Faced with such a mysterious and powerful rival, she no longer dared to make a decision alone. “What does everyone else think?”
I agree with Olivia. If Luna really did kidnap Dylan, we can’t just wait around for disaster,” a family member chimed in.
They had all been involved in harming Donald years ago, and now that Luna was back for revenge, they knew she would never let them off.
“All right. I’ll take some men and go kidnap them right now, another declared.
They knew they couldn’t face Luna, but they could easily handle a defenseless woman and her child.
“Good,” Judy said. “Let’s split up and act. This time, we mustn’t let Luna get away.”
This time, they would pull out the problem at its roots.
As Luna had expected, the Blackwood family was indeed planning to target Sophia and Ethan.
The Blackwood men arrived to find Sophia and Ethan together, completely oblivious to the dozen of Phantom’s operatives secretly protecting them.
“Mrs. Blackwood, you’d better come with us,” one of the men said, a cruel smirk on his face. “Cooperate, or we will be forced to use force.
Sophia held Ethan tightly. “What do you want? It’s broad daylight; there are so many people here!”
One of the men gave a cold, dismissive laugh. “Are you joking? Since when has the Blackwood family ever cared about that?”
Sophia fumed, recognizing the ruthlessness of Judy’s lackeys.
“Mrs. Blackwood, if you and your son don’t want to suffer, you’d better come with us.”
Sophia desperately tried to run with Ethan, but the men gave them no chance.
Phantom and her operatives were about to step out and deal with the thugs. But before they could even move, Julian appeared in front of Sophia.
“Whoever you are, don’t interfere with the Blackwoods‘ business,” a man warned, “otherwise, you’ll regret it.”

Julian let out a cold snort. No one had ever dared to speak to him like that before.
“You’re ganging up on a woman and a child, Julian replied, his voice laced with contempt, “and you dare say
that?
He didn’t waste words. In fact, Noah Frost alone could have handled these men, but Julian wanted to impress his future mother–in–law. It would certainly help with his pursuit of Luna later.
With a single, fluid motion, Julian took down all the men in less than a minute.
“You” the men stammered in unison, their panic overwhelming them.
Despite their own basic martial arts skills, they could tell that this tall, handsome man was unfathomably powerful.
With nothing else they could do, they turned and fled in panic.
Phantom’s eyes
s eyes narrowed slightly at the sight, wondering what this tall, handsome man was really after.
Without a moment’s hesitation, she called Luna to report what had happened.
“Ms. Blackwood, Julian saved Madam and Ethan,” Phantom reported.
Julian?” Luna asked in surprise.
“Yes.”
“All right, I see. Keep protecting them in secret.”
“Yes, Ms. Blackwood.”
Sophia finally relaxed once the Blackwood men were gone. Grateful for the help, she stepped forward to face her mysterious savior.
“Sir, thank you so much for your help today,” Sophia said, pulling a business card from her bag.
I’m Sophia from Stellar Corporation. If there’s ever anything I can do to repay you, please don’t hesitate to ask.” Sophia had always been a person who repaid kindness.
“You’re welcome,” Julian replied with a charming smile. “As it happens, I live next door to you. My name is Julian. If you ever need anything, don’t be shy to ask.”
Julian’s presence alone made it clear he was no ordinary man, but he had genuinely helped her, and that was all that mattered.
“Let me drive you home,” he said. “It would be a shame if those men came back for you.”
“That… would be too much trouble for you, Sophia said, hating to impose on others. But she knew the Blackwoods would stop at nothing. Her hesitation was brief, and she reluctantly got into his car.
After Julian dropped them off at their apartment and was about to leave, Sophia spoke up. “Mr. Frost, if you

don’t mind, would you join us for dinner tonight?”
“Would that really not be a bother?” Julian asked, barely concealing his delight.
“As long as you don’t mind, it’s fine. Sophia replied generously.

“Don’t have to be so formal,” Julian said with a warm smile. “We’re neighbors, just call me Julian.”
“All right, Julian. Sit here for a moment. I’ll go cook right away.” Sophia hadn’t hired a maid in all these years, preferring to cook for herself. She loved the feeling of providing for her family.
When Luna got home, she found Julian sitting on the sofa with Ethan, who seemed to like him a lot, peppering him with questions.
ALL the sound of the door, Ethan immediately jumped off the sofa and ran toward it.
“Luna, is that you?” he yelled.
As soon as the door opened, he saw Luna and jumped into her arms. She had no choice but to catch the little boy.
Julian stood up from the sofa as soon as he saw her, his deep eyes fixed solely on Luna.
Hearing the commotion, Sophia came out of the kitchen.
“Luna, you’re home?” Sophia said, hurrying to explain, knowing Luna disliked strangers. Julian helped me today, so I invited him to dinner.”
Sophia chose to say nothing about the Blackwoods‘ attempted kidnapping, not wanting to cause Luna any
worry.
“Hmm, all right. I see,” Luna replied simply.
“Luna, Julian’s so cool!” Ethan piped up excitedly. “If it weren’t for him, Mom and I would’ve been kidnapped!”
“Yes, he is,” Luna replied, her voice going still. “Ethan, go play in your room. I need to talk to Julian for a minute.”
“Okay.” Ethan was very obedient and went to his room right away.
Now, Luna and Julian were alone in the living room.
“Mr. Frost, what’s your real goal here?” Luna asked, her voice sharp. She knew exactly who Julian was, and his help today was no simple act of kindness.
Julian looked at her with an affectionate gaze. She was dressed in a light purple dress that cinched at the waist, a picture of feminine elegance. Yet her presence was anything but gentle; she held herself with the quiet stillness of a battle–hardened warrior.
