Chapter16

PyrosPOV

The fiery determination on Riley’s face almost brought a smile to my face. She was a great player and only bent the rules to get back at me when I cheated. She was actually kind of funny and I like that about her. If she was anyone else I would have asked her on a date to get to know her better but she isn’t just anyone. She’s my VP’s daughter and off limits to me. That didn’t stop me from getting angry when I noticed Cyanide checking her out, unfortunately

I closed my eyes and shook my head when I realised that I was watching her for too long. Thankfully, she was too focused on the table to notice

You finished ogling me?She asked, meeting my gaze. Nevermind, she did notice. Shit

I wasn’t,I scoffed as if that was ridiculous, There’s nothing to look at.I watched as she rolled

her eyes

Riley smirked and patted my chest twice. If you say so.Then she went back to the table

I have to admit that she is very vigilant of her surroundings. I placed my cue stick on a side table and crossed my arms, leaning against the wall. I have no doubt Riley’s going to win from seeing how well she played. The only way she could lose now is if she got distracted

She gauged the angle of how she had to hit the ball as she bent slightly over the table. I won’t lie and say my eyes didn’t stray a little. I averted my attention when I saw her turn to look at me with a smug grin before shooting. The striped ball landed in the pocket. All she needed was to get the

ball

I thought there was nothing to look at?She teased without moving from the table or turning to

  1. me

I gritted my teeth, saying nothing in reply. I’m not going to boost her ego any more than I probably have already

She laughed softly. You’re cute.”

My eyes widened at her statement. Excuse me?I asked incredulously. I have never been called

cute since I was a child. What the fuck

Amusement was clear in her eyes as she approached. Don’t call me that,I spat, glowering at the

absurd female. Riley rolled her eyes and pinched my cheek, speaking in a baby voice. Aw, are you angry?”

I brushed her hand off my cheek. Her gaze followed me as I stepped away. Stop fucking staring at me,I growled, folding my arms over my chest

Okay, okay. No need to be so sour,She said her hands outstretched

I came closer to her until we were only a centimetre apart. I lowered my head to her ear. If you were mine,I whispered, I would bend you over that table and spank your ass until it’s bright red for speaking to me like that.”

Good thing I’m not yours then,She muttered but I could see the heat in her eyes at my words. She bit her lip. I pulled it from between her teeth, caressing briefly. I leaned in, our breaths mixing in the close proximity. Keep telling yourself that.My lips just barely touched hers as I spoke

I pulled away. Her eyes were closed and her breathing was fast. I smirked, satisfied with her

reaction

She slowly opened her eyes and they slightly widened. She cleared her throat, looking away from me as she stepped away and changed the topic. Can we get this over with, please?I nodded, chuckling as she gulped when she noticed my semi hard on

You better keep that thing away from me or I will cut it off,She said pointing to the lower part of my body. As if she wasn’t thinking about it just a second ago

Trust me darlin, you won’t be saying that when you see it,I grinned but apparently she didn’t find it funny because she kicked me in the shin. I think I deserved that. Slash was right when he

said she was strong

I groaned in pain, holding my aching leg. She rolled her eyes. Don’t be such a baby. Then she

went back to the pool table

Did she just call me a baby? What the hell? I’m the president of a biker’s club for fuck sake. I’m glad no one was here, otherwise, I would probably lose my credibility. I shook my head, choosing

to ignore what she said

I followed her and she positioned herself to hit the ball. Finally, the game was over with her

winning after she pocketed the black ball

Good game,I said, holding out my hand. She looked at it for a moment before putting her hand

in mine. I pulled her flush against me, placing a hand on her hip. But you won’t be so lucky next

time.”

Chapter 16

Reunion Written in Blood

Reunion Written in Blood

Status: Ongoing

Part 1: The Hidden Truth

Rogue’s life flips upside down when she discovers that her father — the man she believed dead all her life — is actually alive.
The revelation comes from a note her mother left years ago, a note she never read until recently. It contains nothing but a name and a photo, leaving her with anger, confusion, and questions that burn like fire.

Part 2: A Mother’s Betrayal

Her fury isn’t only about the lie — it’s about being robbed of a relationship she had longed for.
Her mother had abandoned her at fifteen and never explained why. Even after years, the sting of that abandonment hasn’t faded.
Still, part of her tries to believe that maybe her mother thought she was protecting her.
But protection or not — a lie is still a lie, and Rogue hates liars.

Part 3: The Decision

Fueled by anger and curiosity, Rogue decides it’s time to meet the man who gave her life.
Clutching the paper with his name and a photograph, she follows an address provided by her best friend — and personal hacker — Shawn.
But when she arrives, her first thought is: This can’t be right.

Part 4: The Wrong Address?

The address leads her to a loud biker bar — the kind of place reeking of alcohol, smoke, and gasoline.
Music thunders from inside; laughter and curses spill out into the parking lot.
Rogue stands at the door, questioning everything — the address, her decision, even her father’s identity.
Could this really be where her father spends his nights?

Part 5: The Call to Shawn

She dials Shawn, who answers in his usual obnoxious way:

“This is Playboy Mansion, Patricia speaking, how may I help you?”
Rogue sighs in frustration — this is the last thing she needs.
She snaps, demanding why the address leads to a biker bar.
Laughing, Shawn confesses that he couldn’t find a home address — only a place her father frequents.
“Oh, and… he’s in a motorcycle club.”
Rogue nearly explodes. “No shit, Sherlock.”

Part 6: The Reluctant Courage

Hanging up, she slides her phone into her back pocket, muttering curses under her breath.
Every instinct screams at her to leave — to get back in her car and forget this madness.
But something stronger keeps her rooted: a lifetime of wanting answers.
So she breathes deeply, squares her shoulders, and steps forward.

Part 7: The First Impression

Inside, the bar surprises her. It’s cleaner and more organized than she expected, though the air is thick with smoke and danger.
Bags of cocaine sit openly on tables; beer bottles glint under neon lights.
Everything is black, grey, and white — lifeless and masculine.
Definitely not a place that’s ever felt a woman’s touch.

Part 8: The Audience

The moment she walks in, the room falls silent.
Rogue, hidden in an oversized hoodie and joggers, becomes the target of dozens of curious, tattooed bikers and half-dressed groupies.
Their eyes follow her like wolves scenting something unfamiliar.
She feels their judgment, but refuses to flinch.

Part 9: The Confrontation

One of the bikers rises — tall, broad, all leather and muscle — and approaches slowly, smirking.

“You lost, doll?”
Rogue scowls. Lost? Here?
There isn’t another building for miles.
The question isn’t if she’s lost — it’s why she’s here.
And the answer might shake both their worlds.

Part 10: The Beginning of Chaos

Her anger, her nerves, her determination — all collide in that moment.
Rogue isn’t just some girl walking into a biker bar; she’s a storm searching for the man who abandoned her before she even knew his face.
And as the crowd watches, tension building like static, she realizes this meeting won’t just reveal who her father is…
It will reveal who she really is.
