I hit pause on the video before turning to the others. “Who are they talking about?” I gritted.
These unknown men messed up my shit to get some woman’s attention who they think is
affiliated with my club. That’s complete bullshit.
Slash tsked, narrowing his eyes at the Wall. He seemed like he had somewhat of an idea and from
the look on his face, it didn’t seem good. I’ll ask him about it later.
“Continue watching,” Dodge said, walking to my desk, “They’re getting to that part.” He clicked
unpause.
The more irritating one of the two men pulled out a spray can from a bag. I watched as he wrote a word on the container in red block letters. The camera zoomed in on him. He drew a circle around it before drawing an x over the word, ‘Rogue‘. He proceeded to write vulgar words all over.
“This should send the message. The MC would blame her for this and I’m sure they would want
retribution. Serves the bitch right.”
The video ended with them and a few others walking away.
“The video was longer but this was the only important part,” Cyber stated, “I’ll send the entire tape later.”
I nodded and leaned back in my chair, combing a hand through my hair as I thought. “I’ve heard that name before,” I said to them after a minute. I just can’t remember where or when.
“Rogue was responsible for shutting down skin trades across countries,” Cyber said in awe. “She saved a lot of lives.”
Hm. Maybe those men want revenge because she shut down their operation. I still don’t understand why the hell they would assume she helped the club.
“What else do you know about her?”
Cyber groaned, frustrated. He slammed his head on my desk. “Absolutely nothing. It’s either she’s a ghost or she’s really good at hiding.”
“He tried to find something on her for the entire night,” Dodge inputted. “We only have information on her through hearsay and you know not everything would be facts.”
“What?” I questioned Slash as he chuckled humourlessly. He has been mostly silent since he

entered my office and I am curious to know what he’s thinking.
He stood slowly before casually walking to the other side of the room. “I just think it’s funny that. this happened as soon as a certain someone left,” He voiced. Well, now I know what he was thinking earlier and why he went a distance away from Wilder.
Wilder glared at him. “What the fuck are you implying, boy?”
Slash shrugged nonchalantly, propping himself against the wall, “I’m simply saying that this is too big of a coincidence to ignore.”
“You son of a bitch,” He snarled.
Slash rolled his eyes. ” Oh, come on! I’m sure one of you was thinking it too.” He looked at me. “Pyros, what do you think?”
Dodge placed his hand on Wilder’s shoulder as he took a step toward Slash. “I swear-”
“Enough!” I slammed my hand on the desk, effectively catching everyone’s attention. “We need to think rationally. So, Wilder calm the fuck down and Slash, stop jumping to conclusions before
we know anything.”
I huffed a breath before continuing, “I’m calling for church in an hour, tell the rest of the club. I want to hear what everyone knows or think they know about this girl. Cyber, keep trying to track her down or find a digital footprint. Anything.”
Slash grumbled under his breath, glowering at the floor.
“Do we have a problem?” I asked, cocking an eyebrow.
He clenched his jaw. “No, Prez.”
I knew he wanted to say more but held his tongue. A wise decision on his part especially since Wilder was still in the room. He would, however, give me shit later when no one can eavesdrop.
“Good,” I said, propping my elbow on the desk. “Now, everyone please leave. We’ll discuss more
in church.”
I heaved a sigh when they left. I could already feel the headache this is going to cause. Slash has a point, though, Riley’s timing is suspicious but there is no way she is ‘Rogue‘. Then again, I don’t know her. None of us really do, no matter how much Wilder tries to deny it. Now I wish I sent someone to discreetly watch her. She is still an outsider after all.
