Chapter25
Pyros‘ POV
Church ended with me having more questions about this ‘Rogue‘ than I had when it started. Only a few of my club brothers have heard of her and they all said the same thing; to leave her alone. Problem is, I can’t ‘leave her alone‘ because she is causing problems on my territory that don’t
even concern us.
Fortunately, one of them gave me a little snippet of information. His old lady, Indigo was saved by her three years ago and actually spoke to her. So, I’m heading over to their house in a few hours to hear more about Rogue and to figure out what the hell she’s doing here. That’s just wishful thinking because Indigo is a hell of a loyal woman and won’t just give information out so easily, especially if Rogue is considered her friend.
“When are we leaving?” Slash asked as he oh so pleasantly entered my office, not even bothering
to close the door.
I raised a brow. “We? As far as I know, I did not invite you to tag along.”
“Too bad. I’m going with you and I am going to prove to you and Wilder that his beloved daughter
is somehow involved with Rogue,” He said.
I sighed, shaking my head. His dislike for Riley is concerning and from what I know, the only time they actually spoke to each other is when she just got here and even that wasn’t long.
“Are you sure that’s a good idea? Caller is still pissed that you tried to hit on Indigo when she
came over to the club.”
He rubbed the back of his neck and released a breath. “I had no idea she was taken man, you know that. I was gone on a run for a while, remember?”
I scrubbed my hand over my jaw. This can either turn out good or bad. After a few minutes of debating with myself, I nodded. “Fine but you better behave.”
“I will,” He gritted, turning to leave and slamming the door behind him.
The next two hours flew relatively fast with me looking over the background of new members of the club. All of them are young and haven’t experienced real life as yet so integrating them into the club will prove to be a challenge.

The alarm I set on my phone went off, signalling that it was time for me to leave and meet with Caller’s old lady. Slash said that he wanted to go so I sent him a message saying that if he was not in front of the compound in five minutes, I’ll leave without him.
Sure enough, he was leaning against his bike as soon as I stepped out of the building. “Ready?” He asked through narrowed eyes as if I was the one keeping him back.
“Let’s get some things straight,” I said seriously. He straightened his stance at my tone, uncrossing his arms. “When we get there, you do not say anything that may upset Indigo because that will upset Caller and we do not want that. Understand?”
He scoffed. “Women tend to love me. I’m sure she would tell us anything we need to know.”
I rolled my eyes at his confidence and walked to my bike. “Just don’t say shit like that around Caller. Otherwise, I won’t stop him from killing you.”
I revved the bike just as he was about to speak, eliciting two middle fingers from him. “You’re wastin‘ my time. Get your ass on the motorcycle and let’s get on the road,” I shouted and chuckled seeing him scramble to his bike.
I lifted my hand and gestured in the direction that we were going before I took off, knowing he
was right behind me.
Caller and Indigo’s place is an hour away from the club. I understand that he wants her as far away from the MC as possible. We have enemies that would love to use any weakness we have against us. I know that Indigo is far from a damsel in distress, though, seeing that she did save a lot of my men from being arrested and she’s military turned detective.
We pulled into their driveway, parking our bikes. “What the hell,” Slash muttered as he stared at the house in disbelief. Honestly, house is not the correct word to use when describing this place.
It’s basically like a mini–mansion.
Slash shook his head, breaking out of his daze and gave me a nod as he stood beside me, indicating that he was ready to proceed and stop his drooling. I slapped him on the shoulder before walking up the porch.
As I was about to knock, the door flew open and a tiny body slammed into my legs. I stumbled a few steps back because of the unexpected collision. The kid fell flat on his ass and frowned before raising his head. I hadn’t expected that when he saw me, he would run back into the house
screaming bloody murder.

What the fuck? Who is that kid? I know for a fact they don’t have a child.
“How could he be afraid of you when he was just in the house belonging to a man that looks like he eats children for breakfast?” Slash commented as he watched in amusement. He took the words right out of my mouth.
