Chapter30

Rogue’s POV

My father and brothers are very stubborn men. That’s something I’ve come to realize in the short space of time that I’ve known them. Like now, for instance, when they decided to crowd Harley’s living room as they waited for me to pack my stuff. The only one missing was Rowan. He left a few minutes after he arrived when he got a call from Pyros but I already knew he would be just as

adamant as them

Collin was sitting on Roman’s lap, oblivious to the death stares I was sending to his grandfather

and uncles. I grinned when my son tugged hard on Roman’s beard, making him wince

They had ambushed me this morning. No call or text before they decided to show up at Harley’s

house and demand that I pack mine and Collin’s things. I tried to protest but it was like talking to a wall. I finally gave in when I saw the pleading look on their faces mixed with fear. I already told

my father that I would live in the clubhouse and I am not one who goes back on her word

Harley was sad that we were leaving. We’ve gotten closer since I moved in and she has been an amazing aunt to Collin. Unfortunately, she couldn’t meet my father and brother properly since she had to go to work. She’s an ER nurse in a private hospital

Collin jumped, startled when the door opened with a loud bang. Rowan stomped in, his face set in a scowl until he saw Collin. My son looked up at him in confusion and turned back to Roman, then

back again to him

He stood from Roman’s lap and waddled over to me. I picked him up and settled him on my hip

Mama?He said softly, pointing at his uncles

I sighed. How do I explain twins to an almost two year old

Rowan approached us and gestured to Collin. May I?He asked, his tone gentle and in awe

Thankfully, my son didn’t protest when I shifted him into Rowan’s arms

Hi, buddy. I’m your uncle Rowan. He cooed in a baby voice. I would have never thought a biker could sound like that. I held in a laugh

Hi,Collin beamed

I knew that they could take care of my son, so I left them with him to continue packing our

clothes. My father had already gathered Collin’s toys and placed them in a box and I already organized his clothes. Now I have to take care of my clothes

It didn’t take long to stuff my clothes in a duffle bag since I didn’t have many things. I carried it to the living room and Roman took it from me to load it into my car

Did you pack everything? My father asked, standing beside Rowan and holding Collin’s hand

Yes, I think so,I replied, mentally checking everything I packed. If I forget anything I could always come back to get it

Roman stepped into the house and leaned against the door frame. “Ready to go?He asked

My father looked at me for confirmation and I nodded. We all walked out and I locked the house

My father and brothers were whispering about something and as soon as they saw me approaching, they stopped talking. Not suspicious at all…

We’ll meet you at home,Rowan said to them. Collin waved as they left

I can drive,He said as he buckled Collin into his car seat. I shrugged and gave him my keys. We got in but he didn’t start the car. Our father and brother had already driven off a few minutes ago

I narrowed my eyes at him. I’m just getting used to your car,He said, grinning

unapologetically. It seemed like he was stalling for time or something

I scoffed, rolling my eyes. And how long until you get used to my car?”

He hummed and ran his hands over the steering wheel. I think I’m good now.He said before

finally starting the car

It wasn’t long before we pulled up in front of the clubhouse. The entire ride was filled with soft country music and my son’s babbles. Ever so often, I would glance over to my brother and watch in amusement as he mouthed the words of the song

Ready? He asked, turning to face me. I raised an eyebrow but he just smiled before getting out

of the car

I huffed a breath and followed him

Mama,Collin shrieked, Bike.He pointed to the motorcycles that were parked in front of the

house

I kissed his head as I took him out of the car seat. I propped him on my hip and walked towards

Rowan

Rowan opened the door from us and gestured for me to enter. I made my way into the house and was surprised to see so many people standing in the living room

Surprise,My father said as he walked towards us. He pulled me into a hug and ruffled Collin’s

hair

What is all this?I asked as 1 eyed everyone. I recognized some faces from the few times I visited

the club

Collin held out his hands when he saw Roman, who eagerly took him

It was your father’s idea,Pyros answered from behind me. He thought it would be best if you

meet them before you’re completely moved in, so you’ll be more comfortable with having them around your boy.”

I blinked rapidly to get rid of the tears that were threatening to well in my eyes. Thank you.”

Let’s introduce you to everyone.”

Status: Ongoing

Part 1: The Hidden Truth

Rogue’s life flips upside down when she discovers that her father — the man she believed dead all her life — is actually alive.
The revelation comes from a note her mother left years ago, a note she never read until recently. It contains nothing but a name and a photo, leaving her with anger, confusion, and questions that burn like fire.

Part 2: A Mother’s Betrayal

Her fury isn’t only about the lie — it’s about being robbed of a relationship she had longed for.
Her mother had abandoned her at fifteen and never explained why. Even after years, the sting of that abandonment hasn’t faded.
Still, part of her tries to believe that maybe her mother thought she was protecting her.
But protection or not — a lie is still a lie, and Rogue hates liars.

Part 3: The Decision

Fueled by anger and curiosity, Rogue decides it’s time to meet the man who gave her life.
Clutching the paper with his name and a photograph, she follows an address provided by her best friend — and personal hacker — Shawn.
But when she arrives, her first thought is: This can’t be right.

Part 4: The Wrong Address?

The address leads her to a loud biker bar — the kind of place reeking of alcohol, smoke, and gasoline.
Music thunders from inside; laughter and curses spill out into the parking lot.
Rogue stands at the door, questioning everything — the address, her decision, even her father’s identity.
Could this really be where her father spends his nights?

Part 5: The Call to Shawn

She dials Shawn, who answers in his usual obnoxious way:

“This is Playboy Mansion, Patricia speaking, how may I help you?”
Rogue sighs in frustration — this is the last thing she needs.
She snaps, demanding why the address leads to a biker bar.
Laughing, Shawn confesses that he couldn’t find a home address — only a place her father frequents.
“Oh, and… he’s in a motorcycle club.”
Rogue nearly explodes. “No shit, Sherlock.”

Part 6: The Reluctant Courage

Hanging up, she slides her phone into her back pocket, muttering curses under her breath.
Every instinct screams at her to leave — to get back in her car and forget this madness.
But something stronger keeps her rooted: a lifetime of wanting answers.
So she breathes deeply, squares her shoulders, and steps forward.

Part 7: The First Impression

Inside, the bar surprises her. It’s cleaner and more organized than she expected, though the air is thick with smoke and danger.
Bags of cocaine sit openly on tables; beer bottles glint under neon lights.
Everything is black, grey, and white — lifeless and masculine.
Definitely not a place that’s ever felt a woman’s touch.

Part 8: The Audience

The moment she walks in, the room falls silent.
Rogue, hidden in an oversized hoodie and joggers, becomes the target of dozens of curious, tattooed bikers and half-dressed groupies.
Their eyes follow her like wolves scenting something unfamiliar.
She feels their judgment, but refuses to flinch.

Part 9: The Confrontation

One of the bikers rises — tall, broad, all leather and muscle — and approaches slowly, smirking.

“You lost, doll?”
Rogue scowls. Lost? Here?
There isn’t another building for miles.
The question isn’t if she’s lost — it’s why she’s here.
And the answer might shake both their worlds.

Part 10: The Beginning of Chaos

Her anger, her nerves, her determination — all collide in that moment.
Rogue isn’t just some girl walking into a biker bar; she’s a storm searching for the man who abandoned her before she even knew his face.
And as the crowd watches, tension building like static, she realizes this meeting won’t just reveal who her father is…
It will reveal who she really is.
