Chapter30
Rogue’s POV
My father and brothers are very stubborn men. That’s something I’ve come to realize in the short space of time that I’ve known them. Like now, for instance, when they decided to crowd Harley’s living room as they waited for me to pack my stuff. The only one missing was Rowan. He left a few minutes after he arrived when he got a call from Pyros but I already knew he would be just as
adamant as them.
Collin was sitting on Roman’s lap, oblivious to the death stares I was sending to his grandfather
and uncles. I grinned when my son tugged hard on Roman’s beard, making him wince.
They had ambushed me this morning. No call or text before they decided to show up at Harley’s
house and demand that I pack mine and Collin’s things. I tried to protest but it was like talking to a wall. I finally gave in when I saw the pleading look on their faces mixed with fear. I already told
my father that I would live in the clubhouse and I am not one who goes back on her word.
Harley was sad that we were leaving. We’ve gotten closer since I moved in and she has been an amazing aunt to Collin. Unfortunately, she couldn’t meet my father and brother properly since she had to go to work. She’s an ER nurse in a private hospital.
Collin jumped, startled when the door opened with a loud bang. Rowan stomped in, his face set in a scowl until he saw Collin. My son looked up at him in confusion and turned back to Roman, then
back again to him.
He stood from Roman’s lap and waddled over to me. I picked him up and settled him on my hip.
“Mama?” He said softly, pointing at his uncles.
I sighed. How do I explain twins to an almost two year old?
Rowan approached us and gestured to Collin. “May I?” He asked, his tone gentle and in awe.
Thankfully, my son didn’t protest when I shifted him into Rowan’s arms.
“Hi, buddy. I’m your uncle Rowan.” He cooed in a baby voice. I would have never thought a biker could sound like that. I held in a laugh.
“Hi,” Collin beamed.
I knew that they could take care of my son, so I left them with him to continue packing our

clothes. My father had already gathered Collin’s toys and placed them in a box and I already organized his clothes. Now I have to take care of my clothes.
It didn’t take long to stuff my clothes in a duffle bag since I didn’t have many things. I carried it to the living room and Roman took it from me to load it into my car.
“Did you pack everything?” My father asked, standing beside Rowan and holding Collin’s hand.
“Yes, I think so,” I replied, mentally checking everything I packed. If I forget anything I could always come back to get it.
Roman stepped into the house and leaned against the door frame. “Ready to go?” He asked.
My father looked at me for confirmation and I nodded. We all walked out and I locked the house.
My father and brothers were whispering about something and as soon as they saw me approaching, they stopped talking. Not suspicious at all…
“We’ll meet you at home,” Rowan said to them. Collin waved as they left.
“I can drive,” He said as he buckled Collin into his car seat. I shrugged and gave him my keys. We got in but he didn’t start the car. Our father and brother had already driven off a few minutes ago.
I narrowed my eyes at him. “I’m just getting used to your car,” He said, grinning
unapologetically. It seemed like he was stalling for time or something.
I scoffed, rolling my eyes. “And how long until you ‘get used to my car‘?”
He hummed and ran his hands over the steering wheel. “I think I’m good now.” He said before
finally starting the car.
It wasn’t long before we pulled up in front of the clubhouse. The entire ride was filled with soft country music and my son’s babbles. Ever so often, I would glance over to my brother and watch in amusement as he mouthed the words of the song.
“Ready?” He asked, turning to face me. I raised an eyebrow but he just smiled before getting out
of the car.
I huffed a breath and followed him.
“Mama,” Collin shrieked, “Bike.” He pointed to the motorcycles that were parked in front of the
house.

I kissed his head as I took him out of the car seat. I propped him on my hip and walked towards
Rowan.
Rowan opened the door from us and gestured for me to enter. I made my way into the house and was surprised to see so many people standing in the living room.
“Surprise,” My father said as he walked towards us. He pulled me into a hug and ruffled Collin’s
hair.
“What is all this?” I asked as 1 eyed everyone. I recognized some faces from the few times I visited
the club.
Collin held out his hands when he saw Roman, who eagerly took him.
“It was your father’s idea,” Pyros answered from behind me. “He thought it would be best if you
meet them before you’re completely moved in, so you’ll be more comfortable with having them around your boy.”
I blinked rapidly to get rid of the tears that were threatening to well in my eyes. “Thank you.”
“Let’s introduce you to everyone.”
