Chapter 6
A weak voice came from behind me. I turned around and saw that the woman from the train had actually woken up.
Carter’s eyes flashed with panic. He screamed at the mafia boss.]
“Boss! What are you doing?! You need to get your wife to the hospital right now! And take this little bitch with you! You can’t let her off easy!“]
“We can only help you this much, boss. We’ve got stuff to deal with at home. If we’re too late getting back, our families will call the cops.“[]
He kept shooting meaningful glances at the people around him while he talked.]
Nina clutched her stomach and stepped forward too.
“Yeah, boss, we really can’t stay here with you. My stomach’s been killing me since we were on the train. I need to get to a hospital right now!“]
Other passengers from our car started chiming in, demanding to leave.[]
“Just let us go already! This guy’s got it all figured out for you–get your wife to the hospital and take this chick with you. What’s the point of keeping us here?“]]
Yeah, let us go or we’re calling the cops!”
The man stayed silent, shooting them an icy glare before walking over to the woman on the ground.[]
He crouched down, his voice instantly becoming much gentler.]]
“Elena, does it hurt? Don’t worry, I’ve already called my private doctor. I know who hurt you, and this shit’s not gonna slide!”
The man stared at Elena’s leg wound with heartbreak in his eyes, which gradually transformed into rage.]]
He grabbed me and shoved me down at Elena’s feet.
“We’ll deal with the rest later. Kneel and apologize to my wife NOW!“]
Elena was probably still in pain, she kept her eyes closed and didn’t look up at me.]
Carter behind me was getting more and more anxious. He stepped forward and gave the boss a light push.
“Boss, why aren’t you answering when we talk to you? We all have stuff to do at home. You can’t just hold us prisoner like this! This is illegal!“]
As soon as Carter spoke up, the crowd pressed forward, their tone no longer polite
“Yeah! You can’t keep us here forever! We’ve got lives to get back to!“[]
“Just take your wife to the hospital and stop wasting our time!“]
“If you don’t let us go, we really are calling the cops!“]
The man beside me suddenly shot up from the ground. He found the guy who’d threatened to call the police, grabbed him by the collar, and slammed him against the wall.
“Go ahead! Call them right now! I’d love to see who’s got the balls to call the cops on Alessandro Valentino!“]
Alessandro grabbed the man’s collar and kept smashing him against the wall. With each impact and the guy’s screams, the white wall turned red with blood.[
The group of guards immediately tightened their circle, surrounding everyone even more closely.[]

Flens on the ground had probably heard the screaming and was trying to sit up.
I wanted to help her, but sharp pain shot through my calf, making me groan involuntarily.[]
Elena’s movement suddenly froze. She grabbed the nearby railing and forced herself to sit up with everything she had.[]
When she saw me, she let out a shocked cry]
“Sweetheart, who hurt you like this?1
Her sharp voice caught Alessandro’s attention. He quickly ran over and shoved me aside
Chapter 6
“I did! Elena, I know you’re kind–hearted, but she stole your seat. This can’t just slide! I don’t care what sweet talk she gave you today–she’s gonna learn what happens when you mess with Mrs. Valentino!“]
Elena’s face changed instantly. She raised her fist and swung at Alessandro.[]
“What the hell are you talking about?! This girl gave me her seat on that train!“]
