Eleanor said, Boss, I can’t enter the exhibition hall. I’ll wait for you at the entrance.” 

Ash brought Eleanor to Bonver to participate in the international gaming exhibition. She did not expect the requirements in the exhibition hall to be so strict. No one could enter except for the management personnel. 

Ash nodded and said, “That won’t be necessary. Go back to the hotel first. I’ll go straight back after this. Nothing wrong will happen. It’ll take three to four hours.” 

Aff along, Ash had always cherished and protected her subordinates. Although Eleanor was her personal bodyguard, she felt that there was no need for Eleanor to stay with her during normal times. 

Firstly, Eleanor would just be waiting in boredom. Secondly, Eleanor could not accompany Ash after she entered the venue. 

Ash was dressed in a rather retro style today. Her gauze white shirt was light and sexy, and there was no lack of formal elegance. The ingenious design of the colorful buttons added a hint of playfulness to her aloof temperament. She was wearing pointed high heels, and her legs were straight and slender under her black wide–legged pants. 

Ash’s long hair was casually tucked behind her ears, revealing her fair and tender earlobes and the shiny pearl earrings. 

As soon as she walked into the venue, she immediately attracted everyone’s attention. Two or three ordinary but condescending men tried to strike up a conversation with her. 

One of them said, “Excuse me, may I get to know you? I’m working on a game here, and I’m currently working on a…” 

“I’m not interested. Excuse me.” Ash’s face was indifferent. She did not even look at the man in front of her. 

The man froze. He did not expect to have a bad start. His awkward self–esteem did not allow him to be ignored, so he did not give up and continued to stand in front of Ash. “I don’t mean any harm.” 

Ash’s eyes were filled with impatience. “I don’t care if you mean it or not. You’re making me feel very uncomfortable now. Please move aside.” 

Ash didn’t want to cause trouble for no reason, but it didn’t mean that she was afraid of trouble. The man in front of her only looked passable. She didn’t know why he was so confident. 

“May I ask why you feel uncomfortable?” The man still refused to give up, and his expression became even more embarrassed. 

Before Ash could speak, a deep male voice came from behind her, saying what was on her mind. “Because your face makes people feel uncomfortable.” 

Before Ash could turn around, she smelled a familiar scent. It was Calvert. 

Calvert slowly walked to Ash and held her shoulder familiarly. He pulled her into his arms slightly. “She’s my fiancee. Can you leave now?” 

The man immediately blushed. He was extremely embarrassed. The pressure Calvert gave off was intimidating, and his face was gorgeous. His aloof words made that man unable to refute. 

Calvert did not seem to have any intention of letting go. He lowered his head slightly and asked, “He’s quite talkative when it comes to strangers. Is he too big for his boots?”

Ash suddenly felt like teasing him. Her eyes were filled with mockery when she braced herself to say, “Why are you here, my fiance?” 

Calvert was dazed for a moment when he heard this form of address. Then, bis expression returned to normal. He bent his back and leaned close to her face when he said in a low and seductive voice, “Because of you, my fiancee.”
