Joe understood and patted her back lightly. “Once anything starts, there is no going back. Don’t worry. I believe we can save that person. 

“Besides, don’t you believe in yourself? As long as there is still a chance, don’t give up, and don’t let any pessimistic thoughts get the best of you.” 

Ash was slightly moved and nodded. “Thank you, Mr. Obrien, and I’m sorry that I have to leave now. I will see you when I have time. I have had too many things to do recently. I’m so sorry.”

Ash pursed her lips. She didn’t expect Sofia’s judgement to be so accurate. After only meeting him once, she knew that Calvert had a good background, but his noble temperament gave a sense of being aloof,
