Seeing John’s reaction, the Johnson family was thrilled.
Bianca relaxed, smiling and exchanging a glance with James.
James nodded at her, reassuring her that everything was fine.
At that moment, it seemed certain that they would become John’s students.
Emily seemed forgotten.
A flash of sarcasm passed through Emily’s eyes.
Bianca dared to blatantly present her work as her own, confident that Emily had no evidence.
Unfortunately, Bianca didn’t know that in her previous life, Emily had a habit of leaving hidden symbols in her paintings.
John was clearly aware of this.

As everyone was immersed in the joy of impending success, John carefully closed the painting.
His expression changed in an instant, coldly saying, “With this level of skill, you think you deserve to be my student? Do you think I’m collecting trash?”
Bianca’s face turned extremely ugly, the immense humiliation almost causing her to lose control and question angrily.
She dug her nails into her palms to steady herself.
Her eyes were red, her body shaking, and she was almost fainting from the shock.
Naturally, someone stepped up to defend her.
“Mr. Williams, you were clearly impressed by the painting. Why would you say such humiliating words to Bianca? Did Emily say something to slander Bianca? Although she saved you, she can be narrow–minded and jealous of Bianca, so those things aren’t true,” Eli quickly spoke up, directly belittling Emily in front of outsiders for Bianca’s sake.
He even reached out to grab Emily, “You need to tell Mr. Williams that you voluntarily gave up the spot. Why would Mr. Williams misunderstand Bianca?”
Emily had anticipated Eli’s desperate actions and moved behind John, avoiding his hand.
James looked at Emily with disappointment, furrowing his brows and stepping forward.
“Mr. Williams, I’ve seen Bianca’s painting too. You taught me to feel the painting, understand its soul, and connect with it. This painting achieves all that. It’s clearly a good painting, why would you deny it?”
James didn’t understand.

It must be Emily using her life–saving favor to deceive John.
Bianca’s painting was nothing short of exceptional.
“You people are shameless. Are you trying to force my mentor to accept Bianca as a student? John has nothing to do with her, why should he indulge her?!” Sophia, who had just been guided by John and was inside comprehending the essence, quickly came out to defend upon hearing the commotion.
“What are you doing here?” Bianca couldn’t help but blurt out upon seeing Sophia.
She glanced at Emily, seeing her looking kindly at Sophia.
In the past, Emily would have been most at odds with Sophia to defend her.
Bianca’s eyes flickered, a cold light flashing.
James caught the key point, “What did you call Mr. Williams? Mentor? When did you become Mr. Williams‘ student?”
Sophia proudly raised her head, “Just now!”
James immediately recalled Emily’s words from this morning and understood.
So, Emily had given the spot to Sophia and then called Bianca over to make a fool of her?
“Is that it? You never intended to give the spot to Bianca, did you?” James questioned.
Eli immediately became agitated, about to hit Emily, “You ungrateful person, the Johnson family raised you for nothing.”
“Stop your nonsense, or you are out!” John stood in front of Emily, preventing Eli from succeeding.
He coldly reprimanded.
Eli, for Bianca’s sake, held back and urgently said to John, “Mr. Williams, I don’t believe you can’t see the skill in this painting. I’ve seen Sophia’s work, and it definitely doesn’t compare to Bianca’s. They say you’re the most principled, but it seems that’s not entirely true. This is too unfair!”
“Unfair? Then let Mr. Williams set the topic, and Bianca and Sophia can paint on the spot. That will show if the master is fair and just,“ Emily suddenly suggested.
After all, John’s reputation couldn’t be tarnished because of her.
“Fine!” Eli and James responded simultaneously.
They directly blocked Bianca’s path.
