“Yeah, you’re right. I couldn’t figure out where she lives either. This is the best plan for now.”

James thought for a moment and nodded in agreement.

Bianca’s heart sank at his words.

Could it be that Emily really managed to hook up with someone powerful?

Daniel’s face flashed through her mind, but she quickly shook her head, dismissing the thought.

Emily was nothing. There was no way Daniel would be interested in her.

It was probably some old rich man.

“James, why don’t you head back first? I’ll follow her. The two of us together might draw too much attention.”

Bianca wanted to find out which man Emily was with and then figure out how to make James lose all hope in Emily.

This time, she was determined to make James give up on Emily completely.

“Alright!”

James was initially hesitant and wanted to follow, but his phone rang. It was Kade calling.

Kade was furious because James had lost five percent of Ascend Global Group’s shares.

James didn’t dare delay any longer and hurried back.

Bianca kept a considerable distance.

Even so, she was almost discovered by Emily.

Violette noticed Emily’s sudden serious expression and asked worriedly.

Emily shook her head. “It’s nothing. I think I’m just overthinking. It’s about time for Atticus to finish his exam. Let’s go pick him up.”

“Sure!”

Violette had no objections, and the two of them happily headed to the exam venue.

Bianca sat in her car, watching from a distance as the two arrived at the location.

She frowned in confusion, wondering why they were there, until she saw Atticus come out shortly after.

The three of them chatted and laughed as they got into the car.

Bianca followed them, suppressing her impatience, all the way to the gates of a villa.

She saw Emily’s car enter without any issues.

When Bianca tried to follow, she was stopped by the security guard.

“Sorry, without an entry registration, you can’t go in,” the guard said politely, looking at Bianca’s car.

Bianca put on an innocent face and pleaded, “Sir, I’m with the car that just went in. I forgot my phone and can’t contact them. I just need to go in for a moment to find them, and I’ll come right out.”

The guard remained unmoved. “Sorry, ma’am, we can’t let anyone in without proper registration.”

Bianca frowned. “Then why was the car before me allowed in?”

She asked, already convinced that Emily was being kept by a wealthy man who had informed the property management, allowing her free

access.

Unexpectedly, her question yielded valuable information.

“The owner of that car is a resident here, so they can come and go freely. You can either go back and get your phone or wait outside.”

The guard reminded her again.

Another resident was honking behind her, waiting to enter.

Bianca was shocked. Emily, a resident?

She knew this villa was more prestigious than the one her family lived in.

If Emily’s benefactor had such status, it made sense.

But she hadn’t expected the benefactor to be so generous as to make Emily a resident.

“Alright, sorry for the trouble. I’ll leave now.”

Bianca left reluctantly, immediately dialing a number.

“Hey, Parker, I need a favor.”

Bianca waited for news from Parker.

Emily was cautious, but Violette lacked experience and awareness, so Parker quickly gathered information by following Violette.

“Violette and her two kids are staying at Emily’s place. I didn’t dig too deep into the villa, but I found out that Rhett had caused a scene

Bianca understood.

The villa must have been transferred to Emily by her benefactor.

The man had a significant background.

That’s why James couldn’t find anything.

If she hadn’t had Parker follow Violette, they wouldn’t have discovered this.

So, Emily really did pay off Violette’s million–dollar debt.

A woman like Emily couldn’t possibly have that kind of money on her own.

Bianca transferred money to Parker. “Thanks for your help. I’ve sent the payment. I need you to look into Rhett Moore next.”

Parker, pleased with the prompt payment, agreed to take the job.

Investigating Rhett was much easier than investigating Emily.

Soon, Rhett’s situation was clear.

Bianca was surprised by Emily’s boldness, standing up to loan sharks.

She didn’t believe Emily had fought them off herself, assuming Rhett’s people were scared and made up the story.

But she could use this to paint Emily as a fierce troublemaker.

Bianca found Fallon and, after learning the details, paid to get Rhett released.

No one knew what she said to Rhett afterward.

Unbeknownst to Emily, Rhett and Fallon showed up at the villa gates with a banner, live–streaming their accusations against Violette for abandoning her family.

They claimed Emily, living poorly, seduced men and encouraged Violette to divorce, and both of them were serving the same man. They even insinuated that Emily’s underage daughter might be harmed.

The guard, recognizing Rhett, tried to remove them.

But Fallon immediately started a scene, “Don’t touch me! Last time, you took Emily’s bribe and bullied Rhett. Many people saw you beat him up. It’s unfair! Rich people always bully others. Emily’s money is dirty. She’s young and seduces men, causing our family to fall apart. Isn’t she heartless?”

“Maybe you have shady dealings with that little tramp, too, stopping us from speaking out. God, look at this! How can someone like her live in such a fancy villa?”
