‘James, that painting is from our childhood memories. And yet, you’re still siding with Bianca!” Emily’s voice was thick with pain.
She wasn’t feeling sorry for James.
She was mourning the young boy he used to be, now lost forever.
“You never believed in me. We were never meant to be together!” Emily’s voice was drenched in disappointment.
James felt a sudden emptiness in his heart.
A bad feeling washed over him.
But it was too late for everything now.
Emily smiled confidently as she turned to Bianca and said, “If I were you, I’d keep a low profile after swiping someone else’s painting. But
I know that’s not your style. You’re used to being the center of attention, used to everyone doting on you, and you can’t stand anyone
being better than you. I realized too late that I had been played by you all along. But the fake can never be real. If you had put even a
little effort into examining my work, you might have noticed some flaws and wouldn’t be so sure the painting was yours.”
Bianca didn’t quite grasp what Emily was getting at, but she felt an instinctive panic and immediately tried to play the victim.
Emily had heard enough of her lies and didn’t want to listen to another word. So, she cut Bianca off before she could speak and pointed
to a spot on the painting.
“I like to leave a unique mark on my work. This is it. ‘Sq, Emily‘-that’s my signature. But to make it less noticeable, I blended it into the
painting. If you don’t look closely, you’d never know it’s there.”
Everyone leaned in to inspect the painting after hearing Emily’s explanation.
Sure enough, they confirmed Emily’s words.
It was over!
Bianca’s mind went blank. She was furious and terrified but powerless to change anything.
She could feel the disdainful stares and hear the murmurs of judgment all around her.
Bianca staggered back a step, looking like she might faint at any moment.
Right, she thought, I’ll pretend to faint!
As Bianca closed her eyes to fall toward James, Emily, who had anticipated this move, spoke up, “I bet your next move to avoid this is to

pretend to faint. Lucky for you, I have some medical skills and can help you out with a quick acupuncture!”
A silver needle appeared in Emily’s hand.
James instinctively stepped aside upon hearing Emily’s words and seeing Bianca fall toward him.
Bianca pretended not to hear Emily and continued to fall with her eyes closed.
But this time, she didn’t fall into James’s arms. Instead, she hit the ground.
Bianca cried out in pain.
It wasn’t just the pain from hitting the ground; she was pregnant, after all.
The baby inside her was also unfortunate.

Emily had only intended to scare Bianca with the needle. But seeing her in this state, and considering the unborn child’s life, she decided
to help.
“Get away from me, I don’t want your help…”
Bianca’s face twisted with fear as she realized Emily was helping her. She was terrified Emily might harm her unborn child. Today’s events
would only push James, who already had no intention of marrying her, further away.
Her only leverage was the baby. She couldn’t let Emily take that away!
Bianca struggled to push Emily away.
“Stay still! If you really want to save the baby, stop moving!” Emily commanded coldly.
Bianca was so intimidated by Emily’s tone that she actually stopped moving.
Emily quickly inserted a few silver needles into specific points on Bianca’s body,
Even though Bianca didn’t want to admit Emily’s medical skills or believe she would genuinely help save her baby, her body couldn’t lie.
Bianca’s complexion visibly improved, and the pain in her abdomen subsided.
Among the onlookers, those with some knowledge of acupuncture couldn’t help but exclaim, “Such skilled technique–she’s clearly an
expert.‘
A talented artist and a skilled healer–who wouldn’t want to know someone like that?
Many people decided to introduce themselves to Emily and exchange contact information once she finished treating Bianca.

“James, Bianca is carrying your child. Get her to a hospital now!” Emily said coldly, glaring at James, who was standing there like a statue.
James snapped out of his daze at Emily’s words. He regretted doubting her and wanted to make things right. He was about to deny that
the child was his.
But Emily saw right through him.
Before he could speak, she mocked him coldly, “If you try to deny your responsibility and abandon Bianca and her child now, I’ll despise
you forever!”
Sophia chimed in, voicing everyone’s thoughts, “Cheating and neglecting your child? Such a heartless man should be avoided at all costs.
Don’t let him drag you down.”
Others agreed, their disdainful gazes fixed on James.
James’s face turned an ugly shade of red. Embarrassed, he picked up Bianca and hurried out.
Bianca, aware of everything happening around her, was shocked by James’s coldness. Despite her pain, he could turn his back on her so
easily.
Suppressing her anger and disappointment, she continued to play unconscious as he took her to the hospital.
The crowd gradually dispersed as the drama ended.
Emily didn’t act aloof. She exchanged contact information with those who approached her and seemed pleasant enough.
This was a step forward for her.
In the past, she might have ignored them.
Having been looked down upon by the Johnson family, she had always felt a deep sense of inferiority. But helping the family had forced
her to become strong.
This had made her somewhat difficult and unapproachable.
But in this life, surrounded by good people, she was gradually healing and becoming better.
After exchanging contact information with the last person, Emily and Sophia left the scene, but they didn’t leave the exhibition right
away. They headed to the backyard instead.
Because two people were still being held there!
“We’re not here to cause trouble, really. We just liked the painting and took some photos. Can you let us go?”

The two gossip reporters, who had been bribed by Bianca to sneak in and take photos, had tried to flee when they saw things going south.
But Allan had already arranged for them to be caught and brought to the backyard to wait.
The two men, sensing they were waiting for Emily, immediately began to plead as soon as they saw her.
“Ms. Johnson, we were just doing our job. We’re not targeting you. We promise we won’t say anything about today. We can keep our
mouths shut.”
“No, I want you to tell everyone!” Emily said with a smile, shaking her head.
