“Who sent the message? Is it about Hayden?” 

Eli asked anxiously, noticing Bianca’s reaction to the message. 

Bianca nodded under the hopeful gaze of the Johnson family members. It looks promising. Mom, Dad, don’t worry. I’ll do for Hayden.”

She didn’t explain who the message was from; instead, she gave a vague answer to reassure the Johnson family. 

Cleo stopped crying, her face lighting up with excitement. “Really? That’s great news. Bianca always knows how to take care of things. Unlike Emily, who was such a letdown.” 

The other two echoed her sentiments. 

Chase, however, hadn’t come to the hospital to see her. 

Bianca didn’t care; Chase wasn’t of much use to her now anyway. 

But she felt some resentment towards Chase. Why did he have a problem with her? If he wanted to blame someone, it should be Emily. 

If Emily hadn’t demanded a public apology and instead provided evidence to clear his name, none of this would have happened. 

Bianca then found an excuse to rest and asked the Johnson family to leave. 

As soon as they left, she immediately dialed Kade’s number. 

“Mr. Smith, you only gave me Mr. Green’s preferences and contact information. Is this contact also Mr. Green’s?” 

Bianca was cautious and didn’t add the contact right away. It might make Knox think she was deliberately trying to get close to him. 

She wanted to stand out. 

“The contact I gave you can provide Knox’s immediate schedule. Isn’t that better than the uncertain schedules you have now?” 

Kade was in a good mood, smoke from his cigar swirling around him, a cold smile on his lips, but his tone was light. 

Bianca could sense it even over the phone. 

Suppressing her bad feelings, she tested the waters. “Mr. Smith, since I’m carrying James’s child, your grandson, could you find a way to bring James back to see me when I give birth?”

Kade paused his cigar smoking, then laughed. “I’ll do my best!” 

Provided she actually gives birth to the child. 

Bianca had the means and cunning, even after a miscarriage, she still wanted to keep it a secret. 

Could she be planning to take it and present a child as the Smith family’s bloodline in a few months? 

Bold! 

But he wasn’t worried. If it turned out to be fake, he could easily arrange a paternity test. 

From Kade’s pause, Bianca was sure he was involved in her miscarriage. 

She just didn’t know if James was involved. 

But the Smith family dared to plot against her–they deserved to die! 

Bianca felt overwhelmed and dizzy with emotion. 

“Thank you, Mr. Smith. I’ll hang up now.” 

Bianca leaned back on the bed, catching her breath, her voice weak over the phone. 

Kade heard her weak voice, confirming his report that her child was gone. 

Bianca didn’t know any of this. 

She hung up on Kade and then contacted the number he had given her. 

“Hello, who’s this?” The voice on the other end was rough and intimidating. 

Bianca frowned, sensing the person might not be good. 

She wasn’t scared. 

Not being good was better; it would make it easier for her to manipulate them. 

“Hi, I was referred by Kade. I need help tracking someone’s whereabouts. Can you do that?” 

Bianca’s words might have been deliberate or just a slip. 

The person on the other end breathed heavily. “Miss, you shouldn’t question a man’s abilities. If I get upset, I might want to prove myself to you that I am a man, one hundred percent!”

Clearly teasing. 

Blanca imagined the person on the other end as ugly and fierce, feeling repulsed. 

But such men were easiest to deceive, especially those who favored her delicate and pitiful image. 

“Sir, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it. Just hearing your voice, I know you’re very capable. I didn’t doubt your abilities! Please don’t be mad, I’m already so unlucky, trying to rely on myself, but I offended you with a careless remark. I’m sorry, I’m sorry…” 

Bianca’s voice was soft and tearful. 

Kade had already informed the person about her, 

He saw it as a favor, allowing him to earn more money on the condition that he would help her if needed. 

He didn’t expect the introduction to be such a delicate girl. 

“Don’t cry. I didn’t say I was really mad! I’m not that petty. You need my help, right? Let’s talk business.” 

Xavier’s voice softened, as if afraid to scare her.

“Sir, my brother is in trouble. I need Knox’s help. I need to know his schedule for the next two days. Can you find out?” 

Bianca stated her goal–tracking Knox! 

It was challenging. 

He was skilled in security, making it difficult to track his whereabouts without being detected. 

Xavier had another identity, making it easier than for most people. 

“I can take this job, but it won’t be cheap. You know Knox’s means and influence. Tracking him is risky!” 

“Don’t worry about the price. Name your fee, and I’ll pay once the job is done.” 

Bianca agreed readily, not because she wanted to pay. 

She planned to get the money from the Johnson family. Compared to paying a ransom, they’d be willing to pay this amount. 

She might even ask for more.

Bianca thought Emily had no background, and Daniel probably didn’t care about her safety. 

“No problem. I want to track Emily. I’ll send you her photo via WhatsApp. She visited the hospital today. Can you find out why and who 

she met?”

They reached an agreement, while Emily remained unaware. 

She had just arrived home. 

As she got out of the car, Daniel coincidentally walked towards her house. 

“Daniel, you’re off work early?” 

“Yeah, it’s been slow lately,” Daniel replied warmly, quickly reaching Emily. 

His brows furrowed with concern. “You smell like disinfectant. Did you go to the hospital? Are you okay?”
