Emily watched Raina leave and couldn’t help but call Daniel.

Early in the morning, she walked around the yard with Daniel.

“Found it!” Emily whispered to Daniel, pointing to a small patch of duckweed in an inconspicuous corner. 

Daniel walked over, his eyes cold when he saw the duckweed. This spot was close to Mason’s favorite place. Over time, Mason was really in danger. 

“Let’s discuss this later,” Emily said, her heart sinking. No matter what, Mason was Raina’s grandfather. If she was behind this, how was she any different from a monster?
