Chapter 29
“Where’s the doctor on duty? This person just fainted. We shouldn’t move her around too much; it might make things worse.”
“Since her collapse in the pharmacy, she probably knew she wasn’t feeling well. She doesn’t look very old… I hope it’s not serious.”
Emily’s instincts kicked in as soon as she heard there was a patient. She pushed through the crowd to get inside.
“Excuse me, I’m a doctor!”
As soon as Emily shouted, people instinctively made way for her.
Emily quickly knelt down to examine the patient.
At first glance, she recognized the person lying on the ground.
It was her aunt.
In her previous life, knowing she wasn’t favored in the Johnson family, basically all the other relatives avoided her.
But this aunt, despite her own difficult life, always tried to help Emily when Emily first returned to the Johnson family, even though she was struggling financially herself. Even when she had no money herself, she found ways to give Emily some.
However, this kind-hearted aunt was bullied by her husband’s family, and her husband had a young mistress.
The mistress even schemed to marry the son of Emily’s aunt, and when he refused, he was falsely accused of rape and sent to prison. Emily’s aunt ran around begging for help for her son, while her daughter was kidnapped by the mistress.
Her aunt went mad searching for her daughter and eventually died in a car accident.
In her previous life, around this time, her aunt had come to ask Eli and the others for help, but Emily didn’t know the specifics.
Emily had just returned home when her aunt was leaving. When Emily asked her aunt if she needed help, she just shook her head and said it was nothing. In the end, Emily gave her aunt the little money she had, and the next time she heard about her aunt, it was news of her death.
Emily checked her aunt and found she had low blood sugar.
She quickly administered two injections without anyone noticing.
Soon, her aunt should wake up.
The only tricky part was the injuries on her aunt’s body.
“Someone, help move her to the back room and give her some glucose. She’s having a low blood sugar episode!” Emily called out to the pharmacy staff.
Upon hearing it was low blood sugar, the staff, who knew Emily, quickly helped move her aunt to the back.
The onlookers, seeing the patient being taken to the back, started to question Emily’s ability.
“Hey, are you sure she has low blood sugar? She looked pretty bad. You’d better not make things worse.”
“Yeah, you don’t look very old. What kind of medical skills could you have? You probably just know a bit about medicine and common illnesses, and now you’re claiming to be a doctor!”
‘Emily, what are you doing here?”

Chapter 29
Just as people were questioning Emily’s medical skills, a few girls walked in.
Among them was Bianca, always the center of attention.
The one speaking was Lily, who was always by Bianca’s side.
Bianca also heard the discussions around her, but she didn’t know the person being questioned was Emily.
Her eyes flashed, and she quickly said, “Emily, I know you mean well, but this is too reckless. You should call an ambulance. You only learned a bit about medicine, you don’t have a medical license, how can you dare to treat someone?”
“You don’t have a medical license, and you dare to treat someone, you’re practically trying to kill them. People like you who pretend to know what they’re doing should be reported to the police.”
Lily said, pulling out her phone to call the police.
Those who had already questioned Emily now started to criticize her.
“This is just irresponsible, it’s too much.”
“Exactly, call 911 immediately.”
“Young lady, you have no sense of responsibility; you just want to show off, but you should know your place.”
Bianca quickly added, “Everyone, calm down. Emily didn’t mean any harm; she’s just young and didn’t think it through. I’ve already called 911, and I know a bit about medicine too. I’m about to participate in the upcoming medical competition. Let me check on the patient and see if I can help.”
