Chapter 30
People were skeptical about Bianca’s medical knowledge, as she wasn’t much older than Emily. But hearing she was participating in a medical competition, they thought her skills must be decent. The criticism lessened.
Lily and Bianca took the opportunity to head to the back room. The crowd also wanted to go in and see. Emily quickly blocked their way. Bianca clearly wanted to set her up, and even if she found out her aunt was fine, Bianca would still try to smear her reputation.
“Emily, this is a matter of life and death. Even if you’re upset with me, can you put personal grievances aside?” Bianca said urgently.
Lily also reached out to push Emily, “Emily, move aside. Bianca is trying to help you. If you really harm someone, you won’t be able to pay for it with your
life!”
“I thought this young lady had a good heart, but now it seems she’s just trying to show off. Maybe there are cameras around? Her sister is trying to save someone, and she’s blocking the way!”
“Young lady, this is a matter of life and death. If you don’t move, you’ll be legally responsible.”
Emily, move aside!” Bianca said, stomping her foot anxiously.
“Hold on! You all are just listening to their one-sided story. You can see I don’t get along with them, so how can you be sure they’re telling the truth?” Emily said, sarcastically glancing at the two.
“Emily, not long ago, you beat someone to the hospital just because they were close to me. Now you’re ignoring a patient to spite me.”
Bianca gritted her teeth, deliberately smearing Emily’s reputation. A person who beat someone to the hospital, how could they save someone? The crowd’s attitude towards Emily changed.
Bianca saw the change and quickly said, “For the patient’s sake, I can’t let you continue. Everyone, help me move her aside, and I’ll check on the patient.”
The crowd, influenced by Bianca, started to move towards Emily.
“What’s going on? Dr. Ryan, the doctor on duty, is here.”
The pharmacy had a renowned doctor, known to the locals. He was a retired doctor from Evergreen Hospital, and people even came from afar to see him. Hearing Dr. Floyd Ryanwas back, everyone stopped.
Bianca knew about Floyd. She came here intending to visit him, hoping to impress him with her medical talent. She quickly approached him, “Dr. Ryan, hello, I’m Bianca from Celestial University.”
Then she quickly explained the situation to Floyd, “I’m worried Emily is being reckless. This is a matter of life and death. Now that you’re here, could you please check on the patient?”
Everyone agreed with Bianca. They thought she was genuinely concerned about the patient.
Floyd listened to Bianca and thought someone was being reckless. He snorted, “This is absurd! Are you also a Johnson?”
The same surname as a renowned doctor. ‘
Bianca didn’t understand why Floyd used “also,” but she thought he remembered her name.
“Yes, Dr. Ryan, I’m Bianca Johnson!” She suppressed her excitement and reported her name..
Floyd nodded and prepared to check on the patient.
“Dr. Ryan!” At that moment, Emily locked eyes with Floyd, who was walking towards the back room. She nodded calmly in greeting.

Floyd was stunned. Then he was surprised, almost called out Emily’s name. But under Emily’s gaze, he stopped and asked, “Did you treat the patient?”
Dr. Ryan, it was her. She only knows a bit about medicine and dared to treat the patient. She doesn’t have a medical license; she’s just showing off.”
Floyd glared coldly at Lily. Then he looked at Emily and smiled, “If you treated the patient, I don’t need to check. The patient is fine!*
Everyone was stunned. The air seemed to freeze. Bianca’s smile stiffened, and she blurted out, ‘Dr. Ryan, are you sure?”
