“What?” The change in topic was too fast, and Sophia didn’t react immediately, her eyes showing a clear stupidity.
Emily patiently turned back, “If you don’t have evidence, then it’s slander against Bianca’s reputation!”
*1, of course, have! Wait, isn’t your main concern that you should be avenging Blanca against those who harassed her?
Sophia frowned, not understanding what Emily was trying to do.
Whenever it involved Bianca, Emily was always the first to defend her.

A fleeting smile appeared on Emily’s lips, quickly disappearing, as she murmured.
Sophia didn’t quite catch what she said.

Sophia sat in the police station with a sullen face, next to Emily.
Emily had reported that someone threatened Bianca and pushed her into the water, attempting murder.
And Sophia was the witness.
She had claimed to have evidence, after all.

Emily knew there was no evidence. Since she couldn’t prove it herself, she let the police handle it.
If those people were actually hired by Bianca, then Bianca might need to prove her innocence.
The case was handled by a female officer, who was very empathetic and particularly sympathetic towards Emily and Bianca.
The group of harassers had already been sent for arrest, and Bianca and her parents needed to be notified to understand the situation.
The Johnson family had returned to the Johnson Villa, and upon learning that Emily wasn’t home, they were furious.
“Emily is so cold–hearted. Bianca was frightened because of her, and instead of visiting Bianca at the hospital, she went out to have fun. It seems she needs to be disciplined.”

He was interrupted by a call from the police station. Ils expression Immediately turned serious.
“Hello, is this Mr. Johnson? Your daughter is at the police station, and we need…”

“Scam call! My daughter is at home…” Eli only considered Bianca as his daughter and immediately thought it was a scam call, cutting off
the officer.
The female officer was momentarily speechless before adding, “It’s your younger daughter, Emily. Also, please bring your older daughter, Bianca, to the station. This case involves her, too.”
“What? Bianca is involved? What did Emily do this time? Such a daughter should just be left to die outside; we won’t care for her.”
Eli was furious upon hearing that Bianca was involved.
The officer frowned, surprised by a father’s words about his own daughter.
She sternly explained the situation, insisting Eli bring Bianca to the station.
After hanging up, she couldn’t help but glance at Emily, feeling pity as she spoke to her colleague, “What kind of father is this? His daughter almost went crazy from illness, just got discharged, and is standing up for her sister. Instead of caring, he tells her to die.”
Emily didn’t know the details of the call, but given Eli’s cold attitude towards her, she didn’t expect anything good.
However, since Bianca was involved, she knew they would all come.
Sure enough, within twenty minutes, Eli, Bianca, and other members of the Johnson family, including James, arrived at the police station in a large group.
Sophia saw Bianca being surrounded and mocked Emily, “Just like trash, always despised. Look at Bianca, so valued!”
Emily wasn’t surprised, her face calm.

Eli walked in first, immediately spotting Emily.
But no one expected Eli’s first action to be slapping Emily.
Right in front of the police.
Sophia, though she mocked Emily for being unloved, was shocked by Eli’s extreme disdain.
“I wondered why you gave up the spot so easily. Turns out you were planning something bad, and you dared to involve Bianca. Do you know she just started to recover? How can you be so malicious?”
Eli didn’t even know the details but immediately condemned Emily.
“Mr. Johnson, please calm down. This is the police station, and this isn’t Emily’s fault.”

The female officer quickly intervened, standing in front of Emily, defending her.
Emily, having been reborn, was no longer burdened by the Johnson family’s lack of affection. She hadn’t shed a tear.
Unexpectedly, the first person to defend her was a police officer she had only met once.
Her eyes suddenly became moist.
“Dad, you didn’t even ask, how can you assume I’m malicious? Am I really your daughter? Did you keep searching for me because you
loved me?”

Emily stepped closer, her eyes red as she questioned.
Eli’s eyes flashed with guilt, then he felt challenged by Emily’s defiance, coldly snorting, “Do I need to ask? Bianca has always been good to you, yet you caused her illness, and now you have involved her again. If that’s not malicious, what is?”
Bianca quickly stepped forward, trying to hold Emily’s hand, but Emily avoided her.
Bianca was stunned, immediately showing a sad expression, “Emily, don’t blame Dad. He’s worried about you and me. We came home and didn’t find you. Then we got a call saying you were at the police station. Dad was just concerned.”
“So, it’s my fault?” Emily stepped closer, whispering in Bianca’s car, “But I did it for you. Those people dared to harass you, and with Ms. Brown as a witness, I reported it to the police.”
“Who asked you to call the police?”
Bianca panicked, momentarily forgetting to act, and shouted angrily.
