The Five Powerhouses Who Match the Unwilling BrideÂ
Chapter 132 DanceÂ

She had never been to a school dance in her life. Ava forced a smile, but she felt like an idiot for thinking a coming–of–age party was just about showing up.Â
Jane gave her a suspicious look. “What’s with the face? You scared? Or are you freaking out about who you’re dancing with first?Â
“Relax. Your five watchdogs are standing right there. If any clueless loser tries asking you to dance, the morning news will be about some dude getting wrecked on his way home.”Â
Jane laughed so hard she nearly fell over. She was dying to see how this night turned out. She had a feeling it’d be one for the books.Â
Ava looked miserable. She turned to Jane and muttered, “Hey, why don’t I just dance with you tonight? I really don’t wanna dance with any guys,”Â
“You wanna what now?” Jane flicked her forehead. “Are you seriously panicking about who to start with?Â
“Just go down the line. Problem solved.Â
Ava kept quiet about the real reason. She lowered her voice. “It’s not against the rules for two girls to dance.”Â
Jane gave her a look. “If I dance with you, your guys will skin me alive. Just picturing those five death–glaring from the sidelines made her break into a cold sweat. She was here to watch the chaos, not become part of it.Â
Before either of them could say more, someone knocked on the door. They both stopped talking at once.Â
A man walked in, tall and slim, with a strut like he owned the place. He wore a hot pink suit and a loud floral shirt underneath. The outfit was pure fashion chaos, and he clearly loved it. His face was bold and sharp, and his hair–dyed neon pink–was braided into right ropes pulled into a high ponytail. This man was no stranger to the runway. Ava took one look at him, then shot Jane a confused glance.Â
Jane nudged her again and got up with a grin. “Leo, it’s me. Jane.Â
“Oh, darling, it’s been forever! And look at you, you’re stunning!” Leo grinned from ear to ear and hugged her.Â
Jane stepped back and gestured toward Ava. “Leo, meet my little sister. She’s tonight’s mainÂ
event.”Â

Leo finally noticed Ava, who was quietly seated. He stared for several seconds before moving closer. As he approached, Ava caught a whiff of his cologne. It was rich but smooth, and it matched his outrageous style perfectly.Â
“Oh. My. God. What did your family do, save the universe or something? Two absolute knockouts in one house?” He started circling Ava like a fashion critic at a runway show. “Black hair, dark eyes, that bone structure–her face is flawless! That head shape? Unreal. She’s not human. She’s a straight–up siren!”Â
Ava was frozen. His wild energy left her stunned. She gave a tight smile, unsure how else toÂ
react.Â
Jane crackedÂ
up beside her. “Okay, okay! Leo, chill! You’re making me dizzy!”Â
Leo instantly shut off the drama and switched to work mode. “Show me the dresses and jewelry for tonight.”Â
་་Â
Jane hurried to the closet. Two dresses were hanging inside: one green, one soft purple. The jewelry box beside them held pieces that sparkled like treasure. Ava recognized them all instantly. Aside from the Mindfuse Crystal, the rest were gifts from the guys–for this very night.Â
Leo had worked in fashion long enough to see luxury up close. But these? These were on a whole different level. Some of them looked like they belonged in a vault.Â
He pointed at a bracelet. “If I’m not losing it, that’s the museum piece from the Capitol Planet exhibit, right? That’s their crown jewel. How the hell did you get them to lend it out?”Â
Jane gave a smug hum. “You’re not wrong, Leo. That’s the one.”Â
Leo blinked in disbelief. “Wow. Your family must have insane connections. Far as I know, that thing has never left the museum–not once. People tried to get their hands on it, but the museum always shut it down.” He thought the Morrens were only powerful int he military, but their connections ran deeper than he had thought.Â
Jane’s eyesÂ
lit up. “All thanks to my sister. Austin brought it up himself. We tried to say no, but he wouldn’t back off. He said it was the only thing worthy of matching the two dresses he madeÂ
for her.”Â
