Soren felt completely worn out. He didn’t even dare to speak too harshly. If he did, Ryan would not care at all. As one of the very few people around Ryan who knew his real background, Soren felt like he was worrying himself to death every single day.

Ava sat beside him and listened. She had planned to stay quiet. However, Soren was just too funny. The way he spoke was so dramatic that she couldn’t help it. When he finished talking about his future family plans, she let out a small laugh.
That light laugh from her made Soren tense up right away. His expression changed.
“Who is that? Why do I hear a girl’s voice?”
His mind raced.
“Ryan, did you get another girlfriend again? Having fun is fine, but you can’t neglect your work.”
Ryan’s face darkened.
“What do you mean, ‘again‘? When did I ever have a girlfriend? Say it clearly. Right now.”
Soren stayed silent and pretended nothing was happening.
Ryan’s expression turned cold.
“Soren, if I hear you say that kind of thing again, I’ll have Dolly replace you.”
His tone was calm. Soren knew him well enough to tell he meant it. His face went pale.
He had thought Ryan was just fooling around. He realized now that Ryan was serious.
Ava stood up and walked over. She appeared in front of the camera. She looked at Soren calmly.
“Hello, Mr. Goodman. My relationship with Ryan is very close. I’m sorry about this. I just returned to Capitol Planet not long ago. A lot of things happened at once, so Ryan focused on me. I’ll talk to him later and tell him to start work soon.”
When she said he should start work soon, Ryan looked at her with a wronged expression. He didn’t argue. He accepted it.
Since when did Ryan become this obedient?
Soren felt shocked inside. He realized how much influence Ava had over him.
“Hello, miss. You look familiar. Oh, I remember now. We met before at the restaurant. You were that lady.”

Before I turn twenty–six, we’ll finish the final marriage paperwork. For now, please help us keep this private. We’ll announce it ourselves when the time is right.”
Soren looked at the young woman beside Ryan. She was very pretty. She also looked well–educated. With the Brock family’s background, her identity wasn’t simple either.
In his mind, Soren immediately raised her status to even higher than Ryan’s. Ryan listened to her. That told him everything he needed to know about how to handle things in the future.
Soren smiled warmly and spoke very politely.
“I’ll keep the secret. You two are a perfect match. I won’t disturb you anymore. Please help persuade Ryan.”
Ryan cut off the call right away. He felt very sweet because Ava had admitted their relationship in front of Soren. That sweetness even covered up his annoyance about having to go back to work.
Ava looked at Ryan seriously.
“I know you didn’t work these days because of me. I’m very grateful. Still, this job was accepted a long time ago. You should finish it properly. People should honor their contracts, I don’t like it when you delay work for personal reasons.
“Ryan, I understand how you feel. I know you want more time with me to build our relationship. I get it. Still, we have a very long future ahead of us. We don’t need to rush. If you’re busy later and we can’t see each other for a long time, I can go visit you at work.”
Ryan nodded.
“Okay. I’ll do as you say. I’ll report to the company tomorrow.”
“That’s a recording studio inside. Do you want to try it?”
Ava looked at him. She felt unsure.
“Are you sure? I don’t sing well.”
She laughed after she said it. If she had any weakness, it was probably her singing.
Ryan became interested right away.
“Then, you can sing for me later. I’m very willing to give you free guidance.”
