“Name your conditions, anything at all,” Mason said.Â

Ava glanced at each of them. She stayed quiet for two long minutes before speaking, her voice calm but firm. “In my twenty–five years on this earth, I never imagined my life could turn upside down like this. Before today, I didn’t know any of you, and I certainly didn’t understand you. Without the Match Bureau, our paths probably would never have crossed.Â
“Up until now, I haven’t felt even a hint of romantic interest toward any of you. What will happen in the future? I don’t know. I’m currently unable to provide an answer to that. But here’s what I expect: while this relationship exists, I want my husband to be completely loyal. Body and mind. No cheating, no playing around. That’s non–negotiable. And I can promise the same for myself—I won’t go messing around either.Â
“And one more thing before we make anything official. I need each of you to send me your medical reports. I want to see your infectious disease tests, STI checks, and genetic screening. The same goes for me. I’ll be sharing my reports with you as well.”Â
Ethan’s eyebrows shot up in surprise. “Ava, that’s it? Thats all you want?”Â
Ava frowned. “Is there a problem?”Â
Ethan chuckled softly. “No problem. I just didn’t expect your list to be so simple.”Â
Ava added, “Of course, if there’s anything physically wrong that’s hard to say out loud, you can tell me privately. I won’t share it with anyone.”Â
Her words landed on them hard. Their expressions stiffened instantly. Even Keith, who was always smiling, couldn’t keep his usual grin.Â
Ava didn’t even realize what her words might mean to a man. She thought for a moment and decided that was probably enough for now. “If you have any requests you can bring them up too.”Â
Laurent shot her a glance, his eyes flashing with a hint of fire. “I’ll send you the medical report. And just so you know, I’m perfectly healthy.”Â
Mason laughed out loud, his words coming out slow and deliberate. “Forget the report. I’d much rather have you check me yourself and see if I’m in shape.”Â
Keith cleared his throat, pretending to cough. “Fine. I’ll go for a full check–up tomorrow.”Â
Ryan ground his teeth so hard that it probably hurt. “Medical report? Sure, fine. No problem.”Â
Ethan quickly smoothed his expression. “Your request will be handled exactly as you want.”Â
Ava listened to them, her brain turning over the words again and again. Something about their tone made her feel like there was more hidden in what they were saying. Still, she convinced herself that her request wasn’t unreasonable.Â
After seeing that they all agreed, she let it drop and continued. “Soon, the Morrens will throw my coming- of–age party. After that, I’ll stay on Capitol Planet to study. I just want to focus on school and not have unrelated people bothering me.”Â
Once the Morrens reported Ava’s situation, her life could no longer stay this peaceful. She had hoped for a bit of stability and didn’t want to get caught up in being chased or entangled by so many people.Â

Keith’s eyes lit up like little stars. He couldn’t hide the excitement in his voice. “Wait, so you’re saying you won’t accept any new suitors? That’s your promise to us: Because if it is, I’m taking that seriously.”Â
Even though the guys had already formed a private alliance, it was all behind the scenes, something Ava wasn’t supposed to notice. But she had just brought it up herself. It was a huge temptation. Society might promote polyandry, but men can’t help being selfish at heart. Whether it’s marriage or just a casual fling, thinking about other men trying to get close to her made them all want to tear the competition apart.Â
Ava nodded. “You can take it as my promise. I don’t usually make promises, but if I say something, I stick to it. Also, I’m not planning on having kids for the next thirty years. If we get along and decide to continue together in the long run, I’ll give each of you no less than two synthetic embryos to raise children. And if I’m lucky enough to have a daughter, I want her to go by my family name.”Â
“I’m still young. I just want to hang out with you,” Mason quickly said. “Kids are annoying. I’m not ready to be a dad yet.”Â
“Ava, most men only start thinking about having kids after they hit seventy. I don’t think any of us want to be dads that early,” Keith added.Â
“If it really happens that there’s a daughter, no matter whose child she is, she’ll go by your family name. I’m fully on board,” Laurent said first, and the others quickly followed.Â
Ava let out a sigh of relief. Sons could be grown entirely in artificial wombs, but daughters required a woman to carry them. Even if they’d be transferred to an artificial womb after three months, the daughter she carried herself, she wanted her to go by her family name.Â
