JASMINE’S POV (1

I let out a disgruntled sigh as I looked down at my bandaged sprained ankle. If I hadn’t sprained it I would have left with Tony by now. This was all Keith’s fault I thought of Keith who had done a little too much. Carrying me, holding me, tending to me. For someone with a lover whom he planned to marry I felt that was inappropriate.

I looked at him as he spoke to one of his bodyguards nearby. Mine were a little further from the building but were watching me but also keeping an eye on Tony at the racing track.

My eyes narrowed at Keith. He was being so damn adamant about the joint custody, but why? He gave that weird reason that Tony was his son as well and that he was worried us. I rolled my eyes. I didn’t buy it at all. Keith should be focused on Diana and Marco. He chose them at the end of the day so why stick his nose mine?

Diana was going to try to kill me. I was trying to keep Tony and I as far away as possible from them. Yet there he was trying to force us to stay linked together. If we got joint custody that would mean Tony would have to spend time at Keith’s home. I didn’t want Tony going where Diana was and I wasn’t present. It would just be a set up for disaster.

I had to find a way to stop it. I didn’t have Keith’s billionaire power. I let out a sigh.

I wish things could have been like in my past life with Keith remaining uninterested in me so thus divorce would be so much simpler. This time around its like Keith was another hurdle I had to handle on top of Diana.

I stood up from the bench and walked a bit. My ankle was painful but not so much that I could move around. I made my way to the railing of the so I could get a closer look at Tony on the track.

Once he was done we were headed straight home. I looked up at the sky taking in the evening sun. It was summer so the sun set late fortunately.

A moment later a gocart pulled up and the little driver. He removed his helmet and it was Marco inside. He came toward the building.

I glanced at Marco who looked at me. I don’t think I’d ever seen Marco not by Diana’s side.

Hello,I greeted him. I looked his blue eyes and noticed his dark hair. The features that made everyone believe he was more deserving than Tony.

Hello,” he greeted back.

He seemed a bit nervous as he looked. Perhaps it’s because he was wary of me. I imagine Diana told him to be afraid me the same way I told Tony to be wary of the two of them as well.

He then continued on and went inside the building. A little while later he came out holding a drink. He quickly finished the drink and placed that down by the bench I was seated at before. He then went back to the track.

Jasmine,” a voice said from behind me. My eyes widened in horror I turned around and found Diana and Keith cone toward me. surprised to see me.

Diana,” I said equally surprised to see her. I thought Keith said she wasn’t her. I immediately wanted to leave with Tony.

Babe, I didn’t know Jasmine was here she commented as she looked at me. Looks like Keith hadn’t told Diana I would be here. Which again was weird. Wouldn’t you tell your lover that you’re going to meet your ex?

Yes, darling,” Keith answered as if nervous. I was thinking of taking Marco out and thought I would bring Anthuby as well since they are both my sons. I never have time to spend with them.

My eyebrows sprung up in surprise. What a liar I thought to myself. Whilst I thought Keith was bad enough for having lured me here. He was keeping things from Diana?

A surprised expression was on Diana’s face. Well, that’s so kind of you Keith, Anthony us also you son. I think it’s good for you to spend time with him as well.”

She then turned toward Keith and kissed him on the lips. She looked him in the eye as she kissed him as if trying to send me a message.

I watched them with uninterested expression. Diana, I don’t care, he’s your man I thought to myself. When they broke apart Keith spoke up.

Let’s go see Marco,he said to her. They went towards the track. I watched them as they left. I then turned back to the bench 1.

I eyed the cup Marco had drank from that lay on the table. My eye sparked with an idea. Marco’s DNA was on the cup if I could get it I could send to a lab and find out the

truth. I could for myself whether Marco was really Diana’s and Keith’s child.

I know I was called a jealous woman but there was just something that wasn’t right about her and him. I wanted to confirm this not because I wanted to prove to Keith but for my own satisfaction. I didn’t care about Keith knowing the truth anymore.

I glanced toward the track. Keith and Diana were focused on Marco. My guards were watching Tony. No one was currently watching me.

I moved.

If I moved swiftly enough I could grab the cup quickly. I went towards the benches. I picked up the cup and was about to put it in my bag.

What are you doing?A voice asked me. My blood ran cold. I turned around and found Diana had returned. What was she doing back here so quickly?

Nothing,I lied as I hid the cup behind my bag.

Give me the cup you took now,she said to me.

What are you talking about?I asked her feigning ignorance.

Put the cup down, she threatened as she drew closer to me.

What are you going to do?I asked her.

If I was suspicious of her before then now I was completely convinced I was right because if she nothing to hide wouldn’t care about me taking the cup.

Admit it you’re hiding something about Marco,” I challenged her. Youve been lying the entire time about him, haven’t you?”

Something then flipped inside her as her eyes widened in shock and raised her arm at

  1. me.

I caught it before she could slap me across the face. A dumbstruck expression was on her face. Diana was physically weaker than me.

I then hit her with an upper cut that surprised me so much I wished Louis was here to

see it.

She staggered backward from the knock of my punch. She brought her hand to her face as she looked at me in shock.

We’re not at my house where you could slap me around because of your bodyguards,”

I reminded her.

A look of annoyance appeared on her face. She then lunged to get the cup. I turned away from her.

Take the cup!she ordered a bodyguard nearby to help her. I tried to quickly put it in my handbag. He unfortunately managed to grab it from me.

Yes, crush it and throw it far from here! She told him. I tried to reach for it before but Diana pulled me back toward her by my hair. The bodyguard continued on and escaped.

I grunted in frustration. If I could prove Diana was lying about about her son I would be so satisfied that I was right. I then grabbed her loose blonde hair to which she screamed out.

Why can’t you leave Keith alone? You have your own boyfriend now don’t you Are you trying to make him jealous? She asked me.

He made me come here Diana,” I told her matter of factly

I’m warning you Jasmine if you don’t leave Keith alone I’ll make you regret it,” she threatened me.

I already did nothing and was still made to pay for it,I said to her. I was referring to the fact that two years ago from the moment she moved into the main house she’d tortured me when I’d done nothing to her. On top of that you were going to poison me and attempt to kill me in the future.

What the hell is going on? Enough! We heard a familiar voice say.

Keith rushed toward us, grabbing my arm and pulling me back. I released her hair. Diana released me at the same time. She then smoothed her hair as if nothing had happened.

What is wrong with you two?he demanded.

She attacked me,Diana said instantly.

She tried to hit me first,” I snapped.

Keith exhaled sharply, running a hand through his hair. This is not the place for this. Not here. Not now.”

His eyes lingered on me for half a second longer than necessary, and that, made my
