A thought then came to mind and I wonderedÂ
whatÂ
my mother would think.Â
“Mum?” then saidÂ
1Â
“Yes?” she said and then waited for me to speak.Â
I wanted to ask her if I really wasn’t allowed to speak to Marco. He seemed really nice. As I contemplated asking the question I then thought of everything mum had done recently to protect us. We suddenly moved homes and everything. Even though I didn’t understand everything that was going on I trusted my mum’s judgment. She wouldn’t say that unless she thought it was important. Still, I found myself thinking about Marco.Â
“No, it’s nothing,” I then said to her.Â
She and Louis exchanged looks beforeÂ
my mumÂ

looked back at me. “Just know I’m here if you have something you want to tell me,” she said to me before standing up and leaving the room with Louis.Â

JASMINE’S POVÂ
On Friday, my father’s lawyers got in contact with me. They organized a meeting with me to discuss my divorce case. They also asked for my bank details so my father could wire the money to me. All that was left, was to wait for the first courtÂ
date.Â
After work Tony and I went to Louis‘ apartment, where we would be staying for the weekend. The following morning which was Saturday, Louis and I left his apartment around mid–morning. I told Tony, Louis and I would return in the lateÂ
afternoon or early evening. I felt really bad that we were leaving alone for almost the whole day.Â

Louis allowed Tony to play on his gaming systemÂ
if he got bored. I gave him tonnes of kisses before I left though.Â
Louis and I then headed towards the trainÂ
station. We had agreed to use the high–speed train to go to Kensington as it would be faster than driving so we could go and come backÂ
quicker. If we drove the journey would be three hours where as by high speed train it was only an hour. Which was also the same as taking a flight there but flying had too many securityÂ
checkpoints which would waste time. Which why train was the best decision.Â
When we arrived at the station together with our bodyguards we found our train which was set to leave in less than 10 minutes and sat in our designated seats.Â
“Comfortable?” Louis who sat beside me asked.Â
“Yes,” I replied. He’d booked our seats in the firstÂ

class section of the train so the seats were definitely comfortable.Â
The train soon departed and began to make its way to Kensington.Â
I looked out the window as the train passed by countless cars on the road beside the train track. They seemed to going to be going at a snail’s pace in comparison.Â
I then leaned my head against the headrest of the seat and closed my eyes. The journey was short. There was no harm in me getting some shut–eye. When I woke up the train had come to a stop and I saw passengers from other seats getting off the train.Â
I looked beside me and found Louis still seated beside me. I grew concerned as I stated at him.Â
“You okay?” I asked him noticing he seemed a bit absent–minded as he checked his phone. I tried to see what he was looking at.Â

“Yeah,” he answered as I brought him out of his thoughts. He looked at me and quickly put away his phone before I could see anything. “Were here now. Let’s go,” he then said.Â
We got up from our seats he put his arm around me and we exited the train. He led us to a section just outside the station where some motorcycles were waiting for us.Â
“Motorcycles?” I said as Louis‘ bodyguards who had left us momentarily returned withÂ
motorcycle gear.Â
“Yeah,” he casually answered.Â
“I didn’t know you could ride a motorcycle,” I said.Â
“You learn something new everyday, don’t you?” he said to me with a smirk. He was handed me some riding gear by his bodyguards. “A lot of the roads in Kensington are narrow because the city is in a mountainous area.” he explained.Â

“I see,” I responded.Â
“Here,” he said he handed me a helmet and thenÂ
helped me put it on.Â
He then hopped onto the bike and helped me onto it so I sat behind him.Â
“Hold on tight to me,” he told me.Â
“Okay,” I replied. I then brought my arms around his chest, under the leather jacket he wore, and I grabbed his large pecs from behind. “Is here, okay?” I joked and then squeezed them.Â
A low chuckle escaped his mouth. “Hold on tight without molesting me, please.”Â
“I’ll do my best,” I responded as my hands felt for his nipples through his t–shirt and I rubbed them.Â
“Jasmine-,” he moaned my name.Â
I chuckled as I then brought my arms to his waist where I held on.Â

“-Jasmine, when we get back home, I swear-,” he threatened me.Â
I bit my lip excitedly as I anticipated what was in store for me. He then started the bike and rode off with our bodyguards following close behind.Â
We started with the hospital where Diana had supposedly given birth. Upon arriving we went to the reception and I greeted the receptionist that was available.Â
“Hello, we would like to make an information request on a patient you once had here in the past, about 10 years ago by the name of Diana Rockford,” I explained.Â
“Of course, and your name ma’am?” she asked.Â
“Jasmine Acland,” I used my marital name.Â
Now I definitely didnt have the authority to request for these documents but I wondered if I used my marital name I gain access since MarcoÂ

had the same surname.Â
Once I told her my name the lady went through her desktop and then turned back to us. She told us we couldn’t access the documents which was what I had expected. Having come prepared; Louis and I bribed her. To which she promptly agreed to show them to us.Â
“Since the documents you are looking for are from a decade ago they are kept in an archive room and not on the upper floors with the most up–to–date records.” she explained,Â
“Okay,” I agreed.Â
