KEITH’S POV 1

“Keith,” I heard a familiar voice call out to me. I opened my eyes and found Jasmine staring at me. Looking around I saw we were in the estate gardens. I sat up int the garden bench I was seated on, and saw. Jasmine just ahead holding Anthony’s hand.

“We’re waiting for you, let’s go,” she said to me as she held out her free hand, wanting me to hold it.

I stood up to follow her and just as I was about to take her hand, she and Anthony vanished. Then in her place another woman and child replaced them. It was Diana and

Marco.

A wave of disappointment cane over me. No… where’s Jasmine? I thought to myself. Bring her back.

“Keith, we’re finally together again and can get married,” Diana said to me.

No I said internally.

My fear–filled eyes looked at her and stared at her heavily pregnant belly. “We’re having a baby and it’s yours,” she said as she smiled at me.

I woke with a start breathing fast. My eyes darted around in a panic as I scanned the environment. I realized I was in one of my studies in the mansion.

Immediately, everything that had happened the night before came to mind. I let out a tired sigh as remembered the situation I was in.

Some dream, I thought to myself. My eyes focused on the table in front of me and saw the whiskey and glass I had been drinking all night.

I checked the time on the clock on the and saw it was almost noon. I had arrived home extremely late from work then went to my study to drink. Sleeping early in the morning.

I had to talk to Diana and finally deal with her. I had my guards watch her as I contemplated my next actions. After speaking with my lawyers they guided me on what to do.

I left study, cleaned myself up a bit, and then had Disna brought to me in a sitting

room.

101 She’s being watched

“I’ll say this as bluntly as possible. We’re done This relationship between us is over? I told her.” I want you and Marco out of this house today?

Her eyes widened in horror.

“But Marco is your son! You can’t leave us in the cold like this?” she complained.

“Diana don’t upset me I’m trying my best to be civil with you, I told her through gritted teeth.

“Like I said I’m getting you tested and Marco tested depending on the results i’ll send you child support,”

“And what are you going to do when you remove us?” she asked. “Are you–ate you going to go back to Jasmine?”

“That’s none of your concern,” I snapped at her.

“Keith please, I only did this because I love you. I really do….” she trailed off as tears appeared in the corners of her eyes.

“I know I lied to you but I did it because I love you. We should have never broken up when we did all those years ago. I didn’t know how to get back with you.

A look of disgust formed on my face. “Were not discussing this Diana.”

“Keith please I dedicated so much to this and I dedicated so much to be with you. please choose me Keith. Please,” she begged me.

My eyes narrowed as I looked down at her. “You’re such a pitiful woman, Diana,” I said as I looked down on her.

Her eyes widened as something registered in her eyes. “Even if you want her her back she has a lover now?

She was really starting to annoy me.

“Shes not going to take you back so why don’t you just stay with me?

My head shook dissaprovingly. “Diana you are so pathetic.” I told her.

The desperation in her eyes only seemed to increase at my apathy.

“There’s no point in going though because she probably won’t be around anymore,” she suddenly blurted out.

My eyebrows sprang up and I turned back to look at her. “What do you mean by that?” Jasmine is being taken care of right now as we speak!” she yelled out at me.

191 She’s being watched

Something in me switched as I stared at her in confusion. “What are you saying?” I demanded her to explain.

“He’s been watching her and he’ll take care of her,” she told me.

“Wgat are you talking about? Who is he!?” I asked her.

“Is that how much you love Jasmine now?” she asked in a heartbroken tone.

“I Diana I don’t have time for your childish games so you better tell me what the hell you’re talking about!” I demanded her.

The tears began to stream down her face.

“You told me that you loved me! Had feelings for me as your first love and that Jasmine was just a contract to you. You told me she was robotic, had no emotions. Wasn’t fun like me–so where are these feelings for Jasmine suddenly coming from?” she asked me. “Why did you change so much in the last weeks? Why did she become so interesting to you?”

“Diana, Who have you sent after Jasmine!?” I threatened. “If you hurt her I will make you regret it.”

“I hope she dies,” Diana said ignoring my threat.“If I can’t have you neither will she!” I let out a tired exhale. There was no getting through to her.

I couldn’t tell if Diana was lying to get under my skin or if she was actually telling the truth. In any case, I was concerned. Given her treatment of Jasmine, I didn’t want to risk it. She actually was capable of hurting her given she tried to get her fired and was depriving her of money and resources. I turned away from her and made yo leave the

room.

“I hope she dies! Maybe you’ll look at me again if she does,” she shouted after me. She’d absolutely lost her mind I thought to myself. I the left room and took out my phone immediately calling Jasmine.

If Diana was telling the truth then I was running out of time.

I immediately left the room. “Keep an eye on her!” I yelled at the guards. I’d have to hold off on kicking her out until I confirmed if what the situation with Jasmine was. Bring the phone to my ear I heard it ring as I ran down the hallway. A small wave of relief came over me at the fact that she had not blocked my number. The phone rang but no one answered. I immediately called again after a concerning amount of time then finally someone picked up the call.
