“You really don’t have a filter do you?” he asked with jew clenched, a vein almost popping out from his temple, tÂ
“When it comes to you, no. In any case, she eventually going to wake up. To know hates your guts and you’re imposing yourselfon her: I reminded himÂ
“That’s for us to figure out when she wakes up. Look, I’m sure you’ve had fun playing house with my wife but we both know your little fling isn’t going to last long besad with such bitterness.Â
“Sounds to me like you’re jealous of my relationship with her and that’s why you are faking concern,” I replied.Â
“I’m not going to go back and forth with you. I don’t have to explain myself to you. 1 won’t allow you to see Jasmine.”Â
and I’m not going to let you make decisions thatÂ
The two of us remained glaring at each other the tension so thick you could cut it with a knife, as two individuals walked up to us from behind Keith.Â
“Gentleman, is there a problem here?” one of them asked once they reached us. It was the hospital security.Â
“No, we were just wrapping up, Keith told them whilst keeping eye contact with me. “You can’t do this, I told Keith.Â
“Yes, I legally can,” he smugly replied. “And if you don’t leave I won’t be afraid to take legal action if you keep pressing this issue like this. I will go there.”Â
I internally key out a frustrated sigh. Legally Reith could make decisions on Jasmine’s behalf as their divorce was still in progress and with Tony being absent nullifying the protection order it strengthened his reasons for being with Jasmine. I hated how he had that kind of leverage and that I couldn’t do anything about it in the moment.Â
“You can’t keep her away from me.” I said to Louis.Â
A cynical smile formed on Keith’s lips as he relished in the fact that he had wanted to smack him so badly.Â
I reluctantly began to walk away. I looked through the hospital room window catching one last glance of Jasmine who still lay unconcious. I past wanted to touch her andÂ

confirm her physical state. I heard she was injured, Just for my peace I wanted to confirm that she was fine. But Keith, that slimy petty prick didn’t want me to have that.Â
As my bodyguards and I reached the elevator thought of how Jasmine was expected to wake up within a week or so. I suppose I would have to wait until then to talk to her. I was just worried about what Keith would do with her for the next week.Â
Her bodyguards were probably going to stay in the hospital until they woke up. But Keith was most likely going to take her to his estate.Â
Just why…? Why did it have to be you who found Jasmine first? I asked myself.Â
Jasmine, Tony I will find my way back to you two. More importantly, I had to start looking for Tony.Â
KEITH’S POVÂ
My eyes remained glaring at the Carrington as he left. I was so glad I had found Jasmine first at the building or I would had to deal with him to get to Jasmine.Â
The hospital security gave me one last glance before walking away.Â
I turned to one of my bodyguards once Carrington was out of sight. “Get all the information you can about the altercation at the distribution center. I want all police reports on the situation,” I started.Â
“Yes, sir,” he replied.Â
“Also make sure this whole area is protected, I’m returning to the estate now. I want my wife protected until she’s discharged tomorrow,” I gave him the next instructions. “If anything happens to her I’ll hold you accountable.”Â
The man swallowed hard in fear at my threat. “Yes, sir,” he accepted again.Â
I was going to return home and finally deal with Diana who was still on watch in the mansion and make her answer for Anthony’s kidnapping. As much as I didn’t like the Carrington, I knew he cared about Jasmine. I also wouldn’t put it past Diana to try to sabotage Jasmine. Time was of the essence I had to make her talk now and tell me where Anthony was.Â
I didn’t even know Jasmine had sent me a package, I would make sure to go through it when I reached home.Â
Before leaving I went back into Jasmine’s room. I brought my hands to her face and caressed her one last time. My eyes couldn’t help but glance at her neck filled with marks from that boy. I couldn’t let him see Jasmine. I wouldn’t let him have thatÂ

satisfaction.Â
All this time he’s been doing as he pleases with her from all the pictures I’d been collecting of them. I’d had enough of it. I knew Jasmine didn’t like me but I would rather that than her being with him.Â
Once I said goodbye to her I left the room and made my way towards the hospital exit. In the car, I called the bodyguard at the estate who was supposed to watch over Diana. I wanted him to put her on the phoneÂ
However, the phone failed to call, saying the number is not available. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion as I redialed the number. But yet again. It failed.Â
“Can you speed up?” I asked my driver so we could reach the estate faster.Â
“Yes, sir,” he said and carried out my order.Â
Upon arriving at my estate less than 20 minutes later, the car entered the gates and almost immediately something caught my attention causing my mouth to open wide in horror. The car stopped where it was deeming it unsafe to proceed. Black billowing smoke was erupting from the mansion. My heart sank in my chest as I wondered how this had occurred.Â
All around the mansion was utter chaos as servants ran around the place. I opened the door to the car and got out as I looked up at the mansion in flames.Â
