“Yes, sir,” he said and then he left the room to carry out my orders. 

I then called for another aide to discretely watch over the task I had given the former aide and ensure he actually carried out the task properly. I too would closely watch them as well. I would select a handful of bodyguards and aides as well. Only the ones I knew were loyal to me. I won’t let this happen again. 

I didn’t know who to trust anymore. If I had servants working against my interests like the ones that had helped Diana–I wanted to ensure that nothing of the sort continued at the new property. 

“Also Call my lawyers and set up a meeting for tomorrow, as well. I have things to arrange,” I the second aide. I had things to arrange concerning Jasmine and Anthony. 

He accepted my order and left me alone in my office where I was left with my thoughts once again. I had to find Diana as soon as possible. There was a high chance she and Marco had returned to whoever this person was that was after me. And that’s where Marco probably was. 

I just still couldn’t believe everything that had occurred today. Way too many things. I continued thinking and wondering why they blew up Marco’s room. At first I suspected that was the reason was to cause chaos so no one would immediately notice they were missing. However, now I was beginning to think the was so that none of his biological evidence was left behind. 

I had planned to have Diana and Marco tested. I was going to get a DNA test to see if Marco was actually my child. Had it not been for the incident with Jasmine and Anthony this afternoon I would quickly had the order carried out. 

Which only conformed my suspicions. Marco wasn’t my son. Why else would Diana and her associates go through all this trouble if Marco was actually my child. 

But what’s crazy is how much Marco looked like me. When I saw him for the first time with this blue eyes and dark hair. I was so sure Marco was my son. 

I walked towards a shelf and began to go through some of the documents. I took out

and looked down at it. It was Marcos DNA test that Diana had provided me with when she presented herself to me 2 years ago. 

I believed it at face value because it had the signals of a reputable report but I knew know that Diana must have forged it. I was sure if I had this checked they would say it was fake. 

I should have had another test conducted to be sure. 

I should have been more suspicious of Diana from the beginning…like Jasmine. But I had so many fond memories of Diana. We had such a good relationship when we were 

younger. 

I recalled how Diana was always inseparable from Marco. I thought it had to do with his sensitive skin but with how things ended up turning out that excuse was obviously 

suspicious now. 

That must have been how she hid everything by always being around him and her servants must have helped her. 

To think all this was going on right under my nose for the past two years–just how much of a failure had I been? 

I recalled how suspicious of Jasmine Diana, had been and yet I had told her she was coming across jealous and bitter. Jasmine’s suspicions about Diana had been right all along. 

If I had listened to her- I would have never lost her. The last months had been painful watching her do so much without me 

The following morning, barely having slept at all I prepared for the day. First I met with my lawyers and discussed a few things with them concerning Jasmine and Anthony. Once we done they went and filed the paperwork at the department of justice on my behalf and at the police station. 

I went to see the home my aide had prepared for me to live in the meantime as the police conducted investigation at the house and so Jasmine. 

I approved of the property which was about half the size of the estate but still quite large. It was located in a different part of the city to my other mansion. I then had my chosen servants prepare the mansion for Jasmine and I.

I then returned to the hospital early in the afternoon I went to pick Jasmine up and check her out. The bodyguards I had assigned were 

I had done a further background check on them as well. They were loyal to me from 

what I could see so far. But I would continue to watch them if courseas I watching all my estate workers closely now. 

“Any problems?” I asked them wondering if anything had occurred during. 

“No sir,” they replied. 

I was glad to know the Carrington hadn’t returned. I went inside the room where Jasmine was still sleeping peacefully. Her assigned.doctor was called and she gave me some final instructions on her care before discharging her. 

I had the bodyguards help to take Jasmine out of her hospital room and to the car I had ready to take her to my new estate. Within an hour we arrived to the new estate and I had Jasmine placed in her room which was close to mine. I had the nurse I had hired for her set up all the equipment required. 

Looking Jasmine in her bed a feeling of nervousness and guilt came over me as I 

thought about what I was doing. I know you won’t be happy but I’ll fix this. I’ll find our son and fix our family.

With my head leaning against the truck trunk walls I thought to myself about everything that had happened.
